"The hotel on the whole is excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive particularly in reception, any query of enquiry we made was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The apartment we stayed in was well looked after and the towels and bedding was changed on a regular basis. The grounds and surrounding areas are kept extremely clean. The Apartments are in a central location with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. On a negative note, the pool area which is rather small, gets crowded early, but we found that there was alot of residents had left 'towels on sunbeds' and promptly left the apartments for long periods of time. Finally I would like to thank all the staff at the 'Caleta Garden' for looking after us and making our stay a truly memorable one.....particularly Eve....who is a credit to there organisation. "

"this was the second time we went to fuerventurer and the first time we stayed at the caletta gardens we enjoyed it so much that we booked to stay again this year.the hotel is a very friendly place for all ages,very clean,has many things going on throughout the day and is close to all ammenities.we would recommend to everyone and would certainly stay there again."

"the hotel is sooo clean and our room was also nice and clean. the staff are friendly and helpful. we went half board and dont regret this coz we saved money but, the food was simple and could of had more selection. A fish dish and salad was on offer every nite. our favourite meal was pizza and chicken legs. breakfast was always the same full english, crossiants, cakes, salad. If u want a sun lounger around the pool its best to reserve one early in the day coz it gets busy. all in all a very good hotel in a very good location, would definately go again. "

"Its always a bit of a concern when booking holidays on the Net, but after using Travel Republic for the 1st time i have nothing but praise for the company.No problems at all and speaking to other people at our hotel, we seemed to get a great deal! When we first arrived our only concern was that Caleta Gardens appeared to be quite small, however this turned out to be one of its best qualities as it only took a day or two for our children and ourselves to make friends.Caleta Gardens is Clean and all the staff are brilliant.The entertaint team of Tony, Sandra and Camilla are fabulous, as are barstaff Mackie and Anna.There was always plenty to choose from at the resturaunt for Breakfast and Dinner and the quality of the food was exellent.We went all inclusive and i would certainly recommend this, we saved a fortune on drinks and snacks alone. The only critism i think i could make is that they seem a little under staffed at times and service could be slow. All in all though this was one of our best holidays ever and we shall be booking again for next year."

"I have stayed at Caleta Gardens many, many times. There has been a few staff changes and subquently the atmosphere has changed a little. Tony does his best with the entertainment but obviously money is short and subsquently he is having to put on his own entertainment most of the week. We stayed for two weeks and was disappointed that the entertainment was exactly the same for both weeks, down to the exact same jokes :-(. This time we experienced a few beetles (1 under my pillow) and cockroaches on the balcony) but we were right next to the pool, we let reception know and they gave us some spray which did the trick. I've never had any insect problems when staying on any other floor. Floor's can be quite slippy and there is no lighting in the day inside the hotel! There are lots of stairs everywhere and I wouldn't recommend the hotel for people who are unsteady on their feet, or have mobility problems. Fado Rock is full of flies and I would not recommend anyone eating there as we all had bad tummies following a meal there. (The flies are on all the cutlery and plates that are left on the already set up tables). The service was very poor even though the resteraunt was fairly empty! Overall I would definatley stay at this hotel again!"

"The Aparments were clean and we had enough space for 4 people in a 2 bedroom apt. There was no airconditioning and the apartment became very hot at night. "

"this is our 2nd year here and yet again we had a brill time,staff are all friendly had our rooms cleaned and bedding changed every other day..tony the entertainer is a great laugh makes everyone feel welcome and makes sure you have everything you need..tommy nutters is 2 mins from the hotel and the food there is brill ,portions are a fair size and not to bad in price.and all the staff here are so friendly and willing to help you if you need to know anything .the hotel is not the ritz but you pay for what you get and this suites many people (but then you do have the fusses 1s).."

"The hotel was clean,rooms were cleaned nearly every day. The fridge in the room was a bit dated as it had rust spots on the door and all of the shelves on the inside of the fridge door was missing.As I am a wheelchair user we were allocated a room on the same floor as the reception ,and the outside patio had an eight foot wall, so the room was a bit dark.I would advise guests to ask for a room not on the ground floor. The service at the bar was also very slow. Apart from that we had a very enjoyable stay at the Caleta Gardens and will return. "

"The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and happy to help with any queries or problems. Plenty of sun loungers due to the extra sun terraces on the 2nd floor and roof. Didnt really rate the breakfast, only ate there once as there was cheaper alternatives just outside the hotel. Many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel had entertainment on which amused the kids but not really an adult!! "

"I was a little nervous having read some bad reviews but please dont listen to them!! Our stay was fantastic, the rooms were kept really clean and comfortable and any problems were sorted immediately. All of the staff are fantastic and really helpful and friendly. A big thank you to Tony the entertainer who was constantly surrounded by kids (and loved it!!) for entertaining young and old. The only thing I would mention is that drinks inclusive stops at 10.30pm, but the bar stays open til 12. The rooms are built around the pool so the kids are watched by everyone all day, it gives you a sense of security. Would definately return."

"I had read lots of reviews about hotel so was not expecting anything great. we booked a family room as we have three kids but were dismayed to find out that all the family rooms face the main road and legends bar, I asked reception who were extremely friendly and helpful if we could swap and they only had a ground floor inter connecting room which was really dark and barely above ground level. We also had a problem with big creepy crawlies and were handed a spray to get rid of them. The apartment was clean but outdated, rust in the bath etc On the plus side the kids loved Tony, the entertainment was ok for children, there were a nice crowd there and the happy hours are good value. All the staff are really friendly which made a difference"
