"Hotel was clean enough, but attic studios lacked a few basic ie wardrobe ! Kitchen area was okay but not very well thought out ie you had three appliances to plug in but only one socket. Bathroom had no fan or window and had no shower curtain (despite shower fitments on the wall). Only way to have a shower without flooding the floor was to sit down. Good pool areas at hotel and pool snacks served all day. Good little supermarket in reception which stocked most items. Beach only 10/15 minutes walk away and restaurants were only 5 mins away. Resort VERY close to airport but not many night flights. Noise from bar at night a bit loud (went on past 12.30am one night) - okay if you're joining in, but not so good if you want to sleep !"
Top Tip:
"One good restaurant called "Zakanoh" worth a try - set a little back from the road so don't miss it. However the one we went back to three times is just opposite the outside football game (terrible that we can't remember the name of it, but the food was superb) - the sign outside was blue !"

"The staff and hotel was great, they were very helpfull and the whole resort was clean and tidy, the bar was great for younger people later on at night. I would definately go back"
Top Tip:
"The Olive Tree was a great restaurant just on the main road, we went there twice. The bar in the actual resort was the best after about 12 at night."

"The actual hotel was good, towels were changed, sheets were changed, bins emptied, floors swept etc. The only issue would be that the main pool area is quite loud and rowdy at times but there is a quiet pool available."

"Try the Mermaid restraunt on the main street the food there is great and there is a massive choice to please evryone."

The Caretta Beach is situated on the picturesque island of Zakynthos (Zante), in a secluded area on the edge of Kalamaki resort, which is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and friendly locals.

Accommodation

All of the rooms are adequately equipped with a kitchenette, shower/W.C., telephone service and a balcony complemented with balcony furniture. A daily maid service is provided with linen changed twice weekly.

Food & Beverage

The snack bar serves a variety of snacks, ice creams and refreshments all day long

Facilities & Services

Facilities and services consist of a mini market, an exchange service, a large swimming pool, which incorporates a small childrens pool, a play area, video games and a TV room.
