"had to queue for a table every night for at least half an hour in the restuarant, when we finally got a table we then had to queue for food (which was disgusting) salads on hot plates, cold food, sometimes had to wait for plates. coffee all day but no tea except breakfast and 5pm tea and cookies. no warning of how hot the water was. electric kept going off. got eye infection from the pool. pool towels in poor condition. "
"VERY DISAPOINTED AS THE DAY WE ARIVED AT THE HOTEL WE WERE TOLD THEY HAD NO ROOM FOR US. WE WERE SENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL FOR THE FIRST NIGHT, WHEN WE ARRIVED BACK IN THE MORNING, STILL THEY HAD NO ROOM AVAILABLE UNTIL LUNCH TIME!! WE LOST A DAY AND A HALF OF OUR 7 NIGHT STAY. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE, THERE WAS NEVER ENOUGH DINNER TABLES AVAILABLE, THE STAFF WERE VERY UN PROFESSIONAL."

"There is one nice thing about this hotel - the view. Having said that, we were put in probably one of the only rooms in the whole place without one - even though we were on the very top level. The pool is small and overcrowded by about 9am; the food is dull and repetitive, that is - if you can actually get a table in the "restaurant", dinner is like feeding time at the zoo. The pleasant outdoor terrace is impossible to eat on because of the ridiculous amount of wasps that swarm around you (obviously insect repellant doesn't exist at the Caria Resort). Our room was awful. In hindsight I wish I had spent a bit more and gone to the Magic Life resort down the road."
"Just got back on Friday morning, so this review is based on the last 14 days at the Caria resort. Firstly, on arrival, the drive up the mountain sets up for whats ahead. Once there you have to go through a scurity barrier with Turkish Police controlling access from and to the holiday resort. The views once you get to the resort are stunning. You look out onto the sea, the mountains framing the picture, the view is fantastic. The hotel is a self itself is set over a number of levels or streets, and if like us we did, you get a room on the 6th floor, you will come home with stronger legs than you went with. VERY tiring doing the trek up and down the stairs. We could have complained and asked to move (wish did), but we could not be bothered with the hassle. The bar staff seem to work all day everyday, They all deserve some serious respect for the work they put in for you in dishing out the drinks and taking away the plates/dishes. The same can be said about the cleaning staff. Always pleasent, and courteous. The animation team are fun and very friendly and put some entertainment round the pool. They also put some really funny shows in the evening in the Ampti Theatre. The food. I though the food selection was great. Ok dont expect British food or a wide range of hot dishes menu, but the salad and fruite selection was very good. Personally the selection was limited, but the quality and cleanleness was good. The family room was very basic, but the air-con worked, the shower was mouldy, but again worked and the room was cleaned every day with clean towels, so it could have been a lot worse. We were on the 3rd level, so we could not complain about too many steps! "
"The Hotel was Really nice itself , staff we very helpful and always plenty to eat if you like chicken and salad plus trying other dishies. Only problem was hotel was on a cliff side with 8 levels and if you are near the top lots of stairs but fantastic views"

"If we went back to Sarigerme I would be happy to stay at this hotel again, although I wouldn't rate it as a 4 star, more a 3+. there were 4 of us, my husband, two children (8&5) and me! We arrived at 5.30am and although we weren't meant to check in till later in the day our room was ready and they took us and our bags to our room. They will also collect your bags for you when you go (which as there are alot of steps you would want them to do!), even at 2.45am! The food was not the worst we have had (this was our 5th trip to Turkey) although the waiters were not as efficient as other hotels in Turkey we have been too. My children didn't struggle for food as I have experienced at other hotels. Salads are good, hot food is sometimes a bit limited. If ever you can't find anything the staff are always happy to help. We went in the last 2 weeks of September and found there was plenty of choice for sunbeds, no queing for food or drinks and no waiting for the bus. If you go in high season you may find that a problem. Beach/pool towels are provided although you have to pay 1 euro to change them (that's no burden when you consid er the hassle of taking your own!). The animation team while maybe not the most professional were definitely the funniest we have seen and were really nice. The kids loved the mini disco and the evening entertainment. When that is finished you can go to the kaya bar where the is a man with a keyboard who sings quite a variety of songs! The animation team also do some games, karaoke etc too after evening entertainment. It is built on a cliff so there are some steep slopes and lots of steps! However it is well worth it for the breathtaking view of Sarigerme beach/bay (you can also hop off at the bottom of the hill and take a short walk to the village). There is a shuttle bus that takes you to and from the beach where there is a nice snack bar and a lady that makes the most delicious pancakes while you wait. The beach is well cared for and residents have free entry to it. Rooms while basic are well sized, we had a living room which had two single beds, a sofa etc, and there was still loads of room for the kids to spread their toys everywhere. there was also a bedroom with a queen size bed (although a bit firm), and lots of hanging space for clothes and of course a bathroom. We were on the 5th level which meant a few steps to our room but the view was stunning from our veranda! If you are going from the village to the hotel it is probably easier to catch a taxi for 7lira rather than waiting for the bus at the bottom of the hill as it is usually full when coming back from the beach. All in all, a very, very nice 2 weeks."
"In total I was happy with the hotel. I was a bit upset with reception and with the man at kaya-bar, but other staff were so polite when we were so drunk, i want to thanks from here one more :)) Our room was nice with two air conditions. Our scene from room was perfect. Infact since the hotel is in the mountain, scene is nice from everywhere. Hotel is a bit far to beach but there is a shuttle service nearly every hour. You can also use taxi which will cost nearly 3 euro. Beach was perfect, clean water. When I was there you were able to use the great wind for wind surf. Wind appears after lunch. In beach you can have snack at lucnh, and all drinks until 17:30. Animation team was nice. At least we enjoyed. Breakfast finishes at 10:30, so wake up early if you want to have a nice breakfast. Lunch and dinner was okay. If you compare them with home made or with a restaurant, it would fail. But it was okay for us, we enjoyed and never complained. There are tours to certain places from Dalaman. I do no reccomend Dalyan/Dalaman Tour since you spent 5 hours on a small boat. I recommend 12 Islands tour. While choosing a tour, be sure that the boat will be a big one where you can have sun bath etc. 12 Islands tours have big boats. Mostly German,Russian people chooses here. But all major languages are spoken by animators and other staf (French,Russian,English and German). If I had chance, I would visit this hotel again this year. "
