"Apartments were very good size and location although noisy at night was brilliant. My main complaint was the lack of security. There was no one on a reception and no security at night. This made the apartments very vulnerable to break ins. While we were only there for 4 nights, there were 6 apartments robbed. It made us feel very insecure. The man I spoke to who returned our deposit was very unconcerned. Even thought it was funny. Called them bandidos and smiled. For this very reason we would not stay there again."

"very central for the night life which is why im not sure if the apartments are suitable for families, especially those with young children.
excelant for night life, food and shopping. very clean and tidy. only problem i would say is the room deposit of 150 euro's i thought it was a bit to much i understand them wanting a deposit but i though they were asking to much. All in All my party of 22 were happy as the person who book the apartments no-one in group give me any negative feed back."Top Tip:

"All went ok apart from had to wait 1hour for someone to bring the key as the housekeeper had gone home, don't go back to room before 4-30am as noise will keep you up"

"The carlos v app were very spacious but basic,the person who let us into the app was not very helpfull and quite rude.The location was spot on and near all the bars.The pool was not fab but all in all we had a great time and i would recomend it for value for money.It was also clean."

"The apartment was excellent value for money; basic but clean; could do with some touch ups and improvements but an ideal base for anyone just looking for somewhere to change and sleep.
It is very close to the action and the beach - i'd stay again."Top Tip:

"THIS HOTEL WAS NO BETTER OR POORER THAN WE EXPECTED, IT WAS CLEAN AND BASIC - ALTHOUGH HAVING TO PAY TWO EURO FOR CLEAN TOWELS CAME AS A BIT OF A SHOCK, ALSO NO CLEAN SHEETS DURING THE WEEK, OR BINS CHANGED. STILL IT WAS CHEAP AND LOCATION WAS GOOD."

"we had ants by the thousands in our rooms and believe we were bitten by them also.no towel change or bed linen change,changing them would of cost us 2 euro per set of towels."

"stayed in carlos v apartments for one week and that was too long.didnt hardly get any sleep as there was groups of spanish lads staying there ,they were shouting and carrying on in the middle of the night, kicking each others doors in the early hours.no one on reception to complain to,only maid there on a morning and she wasnt interested.place could have done with a good clean,dont think floor had been washed in months,shower curtain hanging off,towels never changed,swimming pool dirty .whole place could do with a refurb.dont mind it been basic as long as its clean.never stay there again ,could do with another holiday to get over that one."

"this apartment block is based right in the heart of the night life and therefore not especialy suitable to families with young children but very suitable for hen/stag partys
there are plenty of good english pubs that serve food all day but we found the best place to eat being the yorkshire pride 2 on calle londres yorkshire pride 1 is situated about1 min walk from the carlos v block on calle gerona"Top Tip:

"THE FIRST HOTEL I HAD BOOKED UP WAS CHANGED AT THE LAST MINUTE .I WAS ON INFORMED OF THIS WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE ORGINAL HOTEL AND WAS THEN INFORMED TO GO TO THE NEW HOTEL WHICH I THEN HAD TO GET A CAB BECAUSE I HAD NO IDEA WHERE THIS WAS.
THE NEW HOTEL WAS OK AVERAGE QUIET UNTIL 25 GENTS TURNED UP FROM THE NORTH ON A STAG DO AND CAUSED CHAOS.
OVERALL IT WAS NOT A BAD PLACE TO STAY IN NICE CLEAN ROOMS PLESENT AND VERY HELPFULL STAFF.
THE PICK UP WAS A BIT OF A NIGHTMARE THE GENT ON THE PHONE TOLD US TO BE AT ONE HOTEL WHICH ON THE PHONE SOUNDE LIKE OUR ONE SO WE WAITED AROUND FOR AN HOUR AND WAS THEN INFORMED ON THE PHONE TO GO AND GET A CAB PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT WAS FINE
THE COST FROM BENIDORM TO THE AIRPORT IS SET AT 63 EUROS FOR YOUR INFO."Top Tip:

"The whole booking our travel 'independantly' to be a very simple and easy adventure :O)
We booked flights direct with an airline, hotel through yourselves and then a further booking through you for car hire. All went unbelievably smoothly!!!
We found the rooms looked a little dated but considering the cost they were fabulous value for money. They were very clean and as we were only looking for somewhere to sleep basically, they did the trick. We did look for reviews on the internet and subqequently chose these after our initial booking was changed and the alternative accomodation found to be unacceptable due to location."Top Tip:

"The apartments were very much what you would expect for 2 star, but although basic, they were clean. The only downside i could imagine is that had we experienced any problems there was nobody present in reception to sort things out."

"Cheap and cheeful! - for five blokes on a beerfest it was perfect - it cost us less than £35 each for four nights - the apartment was clean with two bedrooms, four decent beds and a campbed. There was always hot water for the shower, and it even had a very large balcony that you could see the sea from."

"We stayed at the Carlos V in Benidorm June 2007, the apartment was basic and rather noisy at times because of its very close location to the main night life & main road. However it was perfect for us because we just stepped out of the door and over the road to the popular Rockies bar then 20 strides round the corner is all the clubs. Only 5 mins walk to the beach. We really didnt care about the noise as we probably made a lot ourselves. You dont get a change of towels unless you ask at reception and pay extra, the only time you actually see anyone on reception is when new arrivals come or people are leaving. There is somewhere to leave your case if leaving later in the day, but be warned it is like an underground room by the pool with very very steep steps and a very narrow steep ramp to wheel your case down, it is so steep the suitcase practically drags you down the steps and very difficult to pull up. The man who let us in did not offer any help even though he saw us struggling, we are two women in our late 40's so some help would have been nice. The rooms were big enough, shower ok, big balcony with a bit of a sea view. Overall if your not looking for 4* or even 2* really then its a great location for clubbers Ive stayed in much cheaper places not too far away that were so much better, However it suited us and will be there again this October 2007"
