"The apartment was appauling and running alive with cockroches. I complained to the receptionist and was told that there was nothing they could do, we just had to put up with it as all of the apartments were in the same condition. Each nighyt we had to check the bed,the room and the shower room, killing the one we found walking around before we could sleep."

"The apartments were basic but clean and in a gret location. very close to veronicas strip and not far from the beach. we didnt see one cockroach in our room, nothing to worry about as long as you keep the balcony door closed at night.Playa de las americas is a great resort, lots of things to see and do, would definately return here. booking with Travel Republic was brilliant, no problems with the transfer, picked up outside hotel in plenty of time for the airport."

"Basic but clean & secure apartment with advantage of cleaners coming in each day (PM). Plenty of amenities close by whilst just off main roads. 10min walk to centre of resort and same to Los Christianos via main shopping precinct. Staff helpful and around whenever I passed through reception. Tip, Cattleya apartments are part of a trio called 'Las Piramides' which is what they are locally called and you need to look for."

"The beds were not great and there was quite a bit of noise from drunks returning in the very early hours (6am ish), but the room was cheap and functional."

"The Cattleya Apartments are being run by a different hotel complex ie Las Piramides. Not knowing this prior to embarking on our stay made booking in very difficult for us, we spent about 45 mins trying to find the correct entrance, which needless to say did not start our holiday very well. Please make other bookings aware of this and that will save them a lot of heartache.

"These apartments are good value for money. They are in a quiet side road just off the main drag down to the Veronicas bars etc - an excellent location. The rooms are basic but clean and serviced every day. We had a ground floor apartment so not much scope for lounging on the balcony as in shadow most of the day. Not a real problem though as there are three good pool areas around the blocks. Would certainly go back."

"The appartment was all we needed for our holiday, except maybe for a microwave and a toaster. The only cooking facilities were 2 rings and a kettle! However we were on holiday and ate out a lot. The rooms were tidied every day, the towels changed at least 4 times whilst we were there and the beds twice, they were made every day. There were 3 pools to choose from and the onsite supermarket was reasonable. The staff were always helpful, especially when I locked us out on the first morning! I had forgotten all but one of my holiday books, but there was a book swap box, it kept me going all holiday. Altogether it was a great place to stay and we would certainly look into going back, but maybe to a Rebecca appartment as they seemed better equiped. Oh and of course the weather just happened to be glorious all the time we were there."
