  • "The Apts were very clean, towels and bed linen changed 3 times a week. The whole of the complex was very well looked after. The staff were very friendly. Maybe 2 small points: drawers in the bedroom would be useful and more English TV chanels would be appreciated (only CNN and Eurosport in English). That said, we would certainly stay there again and would definitely recommend."

  • Top Tip:

    "We ate in quite a few local restaurants and found them all acceptable. The whole area was very pleasant, especially around the new Rubicon Marina. The coastal walk between Papagayo Beach and the Ferry Terminal area is lovely. We enjoyed our holiday very much."

  • "Apartment a little dated and in need of slight moderisation but clean and grounds very well kept. Resort very nice and plenty of short walks. Great range of bars and restaurants."

  • "The apartments were very good with the exception of the fridge which needed replacing. Reception staff were exceptionally helpful"

  • Top Tip:

    "Jumbos Chinese restaurant on the sea front recommended. The Old Mill bar in the centre provided good entertainment with the music volume not too loud"

  • "We had an excellent break in Cay Sun Beach. The hotel was great value for money and I would recommend it. The walk to the beach took less than 10 minutes and the walk to the centre with its shops, bars and plentiful restaurants was only about 5 minutes further on. We were disappointed with our terrace but all in all the facilities of the hotel were great, although the cleaners were a bit keen and did turn up quite early on occasion!"

    "We would recommend the Grill on the Stone and Typico Canario restaurants which were both on the front. Food in both was excellent. "

Hotel Details - Cay Beach Sun Hotel

The Cay Beach Sun Apartments are 400 metres from the nearest beach and a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of the resort. Playa Blanca is the most recent development, with a beautiful new promenade around the bay lined with bars and restaurants, on the southern tip of the island. Although Lanzarote is a volcanic island there has been no action for over 260 years.
