"All the staff were friendly and polite at all times particularly the duty managers. One or 2 things i would make comments about which are designed to be helpful not critical. Firstly, the directions to your hotel are poor if you're driving from Rosslare, no motorway juntion numbers and to make matters worse when I got lost and phoned the hotel to talk to a human I spoke to a receptionist who without a single word put me through to a machine with the same lousy directions as the internet give! Secondly, the showers in the rooms are quite nice but gosh I wonder how much water you would save in a year if the pressure wasn't so full on. nice but in the current climate maybe it's a thought. the food was great, the rooms were clean, the function suites well equiped and organised i wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend to a friend.....provided they had a sat. nav. to get there! Thank you Mandy painting"

"Hotel was excellent, we stayed in the new wing of the hotel & our room was gorgeous. The atmosphere around the hotel was uplifting. we had dinner one night in the Lemon Grass restaurant which is situated in the hotel grounds and we also had dinner in a restaurant called Anvil in saggart (5 mins by car) both nights we had excellent meals. We will certainly be returning to City west in the future & booking with Travelrepublic is a must to get the best deals on around. The level of service we recieved from all the staff on our visit was exceptional."

"Anvil restaurant, Saggart Villiage, 5 mins by car, 20-25mins walk. "

Property Summary

This is a traditional building surrounded by 2 golf courses and countryside. A quite stunning setting. Perfect for a break and a perfect place to relax.

Rooms are all in very good condition and are large in size. Traditional in design, all are fully equipped to a high standard and come highly recommended. Bathrooms are also in very good condition and are bright and clean. All rooms are en-suite and feature multi-channel TV, radio, ISDN/Broadband, internet access (on request), air conditioning (on request), smoking and non smoking rooms, tea & coffee making facilities, trouser press & ironing board and hairdryer.

Bars at Citywest Hotel offer something for everyone, renowned for the best pint of Guinness to a rare collection of both Irish and Scottish single malts whiskeys. The restaurants including the Terrace Restaurant, the Hibernian Bistro, the Pavilion and the Grosvenor Grill Room, deliver outstanding culinary experiences, ranging from traditional Irish dishes to Mediterranian cuisine, leisurely breakfasts to romantic fine dining.

This is a stunning property within easy reach of Dublin city. Full leisure facilities include a swimming pool, large gymnasium, treatment rooms, sauna and spas. The international standard golf course was designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr. There is a 2nd golf course for the novice golfer.
