SHEILA from REDBRIDGE reviewed the Coral Beach Hotel
"excellent value for money. Very friendly staff. Great choice of restaurants in hotel itself. Lots for everyone to do young or old. Would Spa for the ladies. Already planning next trip. "
Top Tip:
"Bus service is good to the local harbour and market. Bus stop outside the hotel. "
"the hotel was excellant, local restaurants were very good, hotel has own beach which was very clean
only problem we had was private taxi transfer with a2b company, they didn't turn up when we arrived !,so we had to take a local taxi which was fine,"
ANDREA from STEVENAGE reviewed the Coral Beach Hotel
"Excellent hotel, facilities and hotel grounds 5* however bedrooms in need of makeover (more like 4*). It is a mile from the hotel to the main stetch of Coral bay but some good restaurants to be found. Overall really enjoyed resort/holiday"
CHARALAMPOS from NICOSIA reviewed the Coral Beach Hotel
"The hotel is 5* but the room and furniture (old for a 5* hotel) can not be rated more than 3*-4*.On the other hand, the grounds, the pool and restaurants are very nice and the scenery especially if you book a sea-view room great. The hotel has its own private beach and bar which I must admit is remarkable. The hotel is far from the town of Pafos and taxis are not cheap in Cyprus, so I would say it would be better to hire a car for a few days in order to visit other places like Polis, Latsi, Peyia etc. There are some restaurants near by, five minutes walk on foot, and just next to the hotel the famous beach of Coral Bay."
Top Tip:
"1st It is nice to walk by the small port of the town of Pafos near the old castle. Try Almond Tree, an Italian restaurant which is in the middle of the town next to a church (not very expensive compare to other restaurants)
2nd Hire a car, taxis are very expensive

patricia from hitchin reviewed the Coral Beach Hotel
"The hotel and its location were excellent - staff - as with all the people on the island were extremely friendly - the room and location of room - was superb wehad a thoroughly nice holiday - only downside dinner onthe lastevening at the hotel was not good - we also ate lunch in the boutique hotel Thalasso - sister hotel - it was worst food all theholiday, however New Years Eve buffet excellent andwhole evening well organised a thoroughly nice time."
Top Tip:
"Try the Olivieto restaurant - hot stone restaurant cook your own steaks, fairly expensive but worth every penny."
DOMENICO from HARPENDEN reviewed the Coral Beach Hotel
"The room size was small and the fixtures and fittings more 3 star than 5 star. Poor communication between reception staff regarding the timings of evening entertainment. Other facilities such as the snooker room operated a £10 deposit for the equipment which was of no use as the balls that were missing were not immediately replaced .There should be a back up of spare snooker balls so as not to affect the opportunity to play games properly. The hotel was average but I did expect the level of service and the rooms to be of a higher standard. Both my wife and I have worked as departmental managers within 5 star hotels so we aware of what is required to provide the right level of customer service. "
"Coral Beach was a lovely hotel with very good amenities, and breakfasts were excellent.Entertainment in ''nightclub'' was also of a very high standard [three piece group with a wide repertoire], although sadly not many guests attended.Rooms and beds were also very good , and more than adequate, including A/C which is a must if yoiu are to sleep properly.Disapointments were the surrounding area next to the Hotel--not alot around the hotel.also, the taverna on the beach was not open whilst we were there, and that was a shame.
Would however recommend overall as a good value holiday."
Top Tip:
"Taverna next to Hotel, on the beach just beyond the small marina, was absolutely excellent for local fish dishes at lunchtime, which was high quality despite its appearance, and very good value for money."
Sandra from Aberdeen reviewed the Coral Beach Hotel
"The hotel is potrayed as a 5* unfortunately we felt it has outgrown this status, needs upgrading to get back to a 5* hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and the food, breakfasts were excellent"
Top Tip:
"Several of the restaurants on the "strip" were excellent"
"We knew this hotel well from previous holidays so expected it to be very good and it was. It had slipped a bit though from 2001 when we were last there - young noisy men in red vests in the main lounge in the evening (despite a dress code)!
We would go again though."
Top Tip:
"Just up the hill from Coral Beach (towards the village of Peyia) is a very good and reasonably priced taverna - Costas"
"This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Many things are worthy of note, but paricular praise must be made of the staff for their courtesy and helpfullness. We will have no problem in staying there again"
"Enjoyed our stay, but having stayed at the same hotel 7 years ago, consider standards/decor have dropped a little, so border-line 5 star rating.
Overall, excellent value for money."
