"Following our 9.55am arrival from Liverpool and a 30 minute taxi ride give or take, we arrived at the Hotels reception excited and ready for an action packed weekend. Greeted and booked in by efficient staff we were all soon off to our rooms to freshen up and get ready for the day ahead. The hotel rooms were basic but hit the mark. Two single beds and bathroom all clean and tidy on arrival and the same applied on our return the following day. Just one safety issue the windows are slightly too accessible opening wide to a sheer drop - not a moan just an observation. Had a great time no complaints four extremely satisfied customers."
Top Tip:
"Taxis friendly and right outside the hotel lobby. No fuss or silly bartering required and at our request we were taken directly to the sumptuous cafe fringed square down town (10 zloty about 2.50 sterling) - rest of europe take note."

"Absolutely fine, without being exceptional. Clean and tidy, good staff, 5 minute walk from the main square, all good."

"Get a rickshaw back there in the evenings."

"Extremely good for price I paid for. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice. )The standard bf food plus some local cheese, cold cuts and cakes.) The location was good. A short walk (approx 2-10 mins to the heart town) The tours that the hotel work with was not bad. (But the staff was unwilling to enquire/book other tour companies for me. In a way, as a tourist, I feel abit forced to use the hotel's preferred tour company. But having said that the other tour companies might not be that good since one of them dont have an english speaking person to answer my call) Also, apparently there are school groups housed in the hotel 2-4 times a year. They can be noisy during the early evening but I found them quieted down when I went to bed. So it was ok for me. But other than that it's perfect for it's star rating."
Top Tip:
"There's a little shop nearby where you can buy beer back to your room. But it closes at 10pm. There's also another hotel nearby (Fortuna) that serves rabit on their menu for a reasonable price. (it was unfortunate that the restaurant was not available when I was there)"

"Externally not the most attractive building. Internally it was dated but clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and courteous. The Crakovia represents good value for money."
Top Tip:
"Try Noah's Ark restaurant in the Jewish district. Excellent menu and live music. The atmosphere was great."

"The hotels location to the old town centre was fantastic, only a short stroll away. The buffett breakfast was fab, a huge selection. The only fault I would have is that our room was on the smoking floor and we weren't advised that before we went. As nn smokers it is off putting if the bed spread smells of tobacco. "
Top Tip:
"Take the bus to the airport, the stop is immediately outside the hotel and only costs 50 pence per person."

Hotel Details - Cracovia Hotel

The Cracovia is located in the centre of Krakow, near the National Museum, within walking distance to the city's Old Town Main Market Square, Wawel Castle and many of the city's tourist and cultural attractions. The modern and bright rooms vary in style, are functional and decorated in pale wood furniture with light colours. The hotel's restaurant offers traditional polish and European cuisine and there is also a café and aperitif bar for guest's convenience. The public areas are spacious with marble flooring and overall the hotel, having undergone recent renovations, offers great value for money.

Airport:
Transfer from the hotel to airport takes about 30 mins by taxi and costs c. PLN60.00 per journey. The bus number 192 direct form the airport costs c.PLN2.50 per journey.

Parking:
Uncovered parking facilities available at c. PLN45.00 per day.

Restaurant:
The restaurant is open from 1.00pm to 11.00pm and serves International and Polish dishes.
