"although the hotel was a little tired and in need of an upgrade . it was nonetheless a well worth experience with superb staff ,both extremely helpful and polite at all times."
Top Tip:
"always be firm but polite with the local shopkeepers or risk buying lots of unwanted souvenirs."

"The room was really lovely and really big with a large balcony with a sea view. The room was very clean and cleaned well everyday. The room had a good fridge and safe. The TV and hairdryer were slightly less good (controller didnt work and haridryer had a strange timer function) but these weren't really required on the holiday anyway. Air con worked very well and effectively.
The hotel had two swimming pools, the main pool was nice but the edge was a little dirty - not a problem though. The second pool had a in-pool bar which was fun too and had a sea view.
Sun-loungers were comfy and the beach-towel service was really good.
We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was really good. Pancakes and eggs made to order as well as cereal, bread, french pastries, fruit, salad and some other hot food (which wasnt what the normal english person may choose for breakfast but was popular with the russians) and two types of juice. The dining room was really clean and airy and a pleasant experience.
The staff were all really friendly and overall the hotel was really good and i would definityl recommend it."
Top Tip:
"we went diving with a russian company called Dolphin Diving in Naama Bay which was cheaper than the other operators (still PADI) and didn't require you to do a first day diving locally before taking you to the national park which every other operator wanted you to do.
Definitly take the shuttle bus to Naama Bay for dinner - a really good selection and quite lively.
Don't eat any salad - it WILL make you ill."

"We where greated on arrival by the reception staff who took our bags to our room and showed us the way. We were given a lovely apartment type accommodation overlooking the red sea, as we had our daughter with us, so she actually had her own space and room for the duration of our stay. We had breakfast in the hotel which was laid out in buffet style and was very fresh looking the only thing missing was fruit, but it wasnt a problem. We ate in the a la carte resturant the first evening and that was all cooked freshly and the staff where very attentive. If we wanted to go anywhere the hotel taxi service accommodated us and they are cheaper as the prices are fixed in reception. Our tour guide for the hotel helped us with any excurtions that we wanted to go on and spoke very good english, he helped us with local knowledge as well. In all we would deffinately go back again and stay in the hotel. "
Top Tip:
"The best resturant to go to is a little place called Columbas. The staff are really great and friendly and the food is basic but really good. They serve a very good breakfast."

"The all inclusive is well far from all inclusive! I would not rate this hotel as a 4 star either. The food is pretty basic and repetetive, if what wasn`t eaten at lunch you`d find it in something else for dinner.My husband was ill for 5 days due to the food!
Very little entertainment at the hotel but when there was something on you would have to pay for it also the drinks wouldn`t be all inclusive !
My self and husband choose this hotel for our honeymoon and really regret we ever went !!!"
Top Tip:
"Don`t eat the food or better still book a differant hotel! We wish we had!!"

"At first glance he hotel looked disappointing - but put this aside and enjoy.
The hotel reception personnel could do with talking to their colleagues in the restaurant and maybe smile a bit - it costs nothing and they may even get a tip!!!
The room was very airy with a sea view - albeit in the distance. The bathroom was clean and the bedlinen was also. The cleaner was in the room at least one hour per day - even clearing clothes and shoes etc.
The food was basic - as is all the food in the area, the service was exceptional in the dining area.
The pool (lower) was kept clean and attended during the day - all staff were very pleasant and easy to converse with.
The Upstairs disco? was a bit on the warm side but okay for a change from the hustle and bustle of Naama bay.
Overall the hotel surroundings and duration was very relaxing, not ideal for kids but if you want a good 'away from it all' break then look no further.

"The Alf Leila etc etc bazaars and little bars etc - a little bit overpowering (being asked to visit 'my shop' etc) a simple 'no thanks' is enough to keep them away though.
The new IL MERCATO shopping complex down the road from the hotel looks very
promising.
Use the taxi service at the exit to the hotel (a gent is in attendance at the exit) - text him when you need picking up - your very own chauffer!!"

"Hotel now 'jaded', especially rooms. (our bathroom mirror cellotaped to wall). Certainly nowhere near 4 star rating. Glad not to have upgraded to all inclusive, would have been very upset at availability of food and drink if we had done so. Breakfast, poor, again for a supposed 4 * est. Very little variety.
Majority of staff friendly.
Main pool very noisy especially in afternoon, with large speaker thumping out music. Could not use this area. Good secondary quieter pool to rear of complex, again no good for A.I. guests."
