"The Henipa Hotel is a cheap hotel (£30 per room Bed and Breakfast per night) and that was with a pool view. It is a no frills hotel, the breakfast is ok and you can find something decent to eat. It is in walking distance to restuarants, but a good 20 minutes or so, however if you want to go into Larnaca in the evening it will be by taxi, although I think there is buses through the day. It is not a 'holiday' place to take children with entertainment around, unless you hired a car, however Ayia Napa and Protaras is a good half an hours car journey. It is an ideal economy hotel if you just want somewhere to stay whilst say staying with friends in the area. Also, in the summer months, beware, they contantly have weddings and the reception is outside by the pool area, so you will not be able to use the pool and also the noise and music goes on till the early hours of the morning which is directly below your bedroom/balcony, and then, they start to clear up! We couldnt complain though for what we paid although there could be cheaper ones in Larnaca that would be much more central."

"The hotel was very clean and tidy with helpful staff. We stayed B&B and found that to be basic but enough choice. Close to sea. We had a car so it was easy to get around but would say if you did not have a car it would be a walk to bars and restaurants. Public transport was also available and close by. Overall a nice break."

"Although the room I stayed in was of a good size and well appointed, on arrival my wash basin was blocked, this was rectified the next day and the pool was freezing. The two main problems were 1. My room was very cold as the heating was blowing cold air, this took me three attemps of asking receptionists to get it fixed, after three days of asking I was at last given a free-standing heater which cured the problem. 2. Breakfast veriety was poor; not always having bacon etc and never having bread rolls or fried eggs."

Room required renovation/modernisation. Sun beds tatty.
No bars/supermarkets close to hotel.

"The hotel itself was just off a busy street. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds of the hotel including the pool was spotless and well kept and attractive. The breakfasts that was offered was of a big variation from fruit uptwards to boiled eggs and toast and english breakfast . The room was basic but spotless and comfortable with a maid in everyday. As I have a phobia of cockroaches that I cannot overcome, It was a hugh relief not to see one in our room or hotel at all during my stay. Overall the holiday was excellent value."

"This is the second time we have stayed at this Hotel and i can say the first time i would have given it an 'excellent'. This time unfortunately we were woken every night by young people arriving at the hotel. We did complain to reception after the second occurance, but they didn't really care!"

"Hotel room , facilities, good but too many local wedding reservations at weekends, there are 2 bars one closed and the other open in pool area but was shut off to hotel residents during the wedding ceremonys.
This has been our 3rd visit to Crown Henipa and we were disappointed there was no entertainment this time.
Staff at Hotel were not so welcoming and helpful,maybe a change in management would be better. We will not be in a hurry to return there."

"The pool area was great, The water was warm and clean and very refreshing. The pool bar was handy. Some of the sunbeds were broken or torn, but there were plenty of good ones to go round as the hotel was not full.
The food in the evening was boring and sometimes cold. Because there were so many weddings the guests had to have their meals served in the underground resturaunt while the wedding guests had the preferred outdoor pool area."

"When we arrived they gave us a twin bedded room and we requested a double room. The room was very shabby and dated and very small. We complained and they moved us to another room with a better view and slightly bigger. The staff was very helpful and the problem was sorted out very quick. The hotel rooms can do with a face lift and proper shower curtains. The breakfast has very little choice and didnt bother to get up for in the end. I only booked this hotel because there was nothing else available but I wouldnt stay there again unless there was no where esle again. We only stayed for 4 nights whilst we were visiting friends in Larnaca and I think that was long enough.

There has been other reviews about this hotel and it was not noisy as they said unless there was a party in the hotel. Did not hear any fire engines as previous reviews state.

All in all it was OK for a 3 star hotel."

"Looks lovely on the outside and the pool area was clean. The reception staff were helpful but the rooms were very very small, the air con did not seem to impact on the temp and the food was frankly, awful. There was a large group of American students staying and staff did not seem to want to ask them to keep noise down etc. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know"

"We were there before the season had started and found the Hotel was a bit shabby at the edges - loose fittings in the room, worn out sunbeds etc but it was clean, comfortable and the service was good.

It is not near anywhere so a car is good but buses are OK too."
