"We have just returned from the Daphne after a great holiday. The hotel is well maintained and very clean - the rooms are quite small but have everything you need apart from a kettle which would have been good. The views are lovely as the hotel is quite high up however the description of the hotel does not emphasize this enough. Some of the rooms are up quite a steep hill and the majority are reached by a number of steps. The pool and bar/restauant are also at the very top of the hill so it is not suitable for people with mobility/walking difficulties. It is around a 15 minute walk into Hanioti which is a lovely villiage with plenty of shops bars and restaurants. It was around 40 degrees in August and the rooms in Daphne have free aircon which was needed. All of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and the food was very nice, we would certainly return in the future."

"We stayed Daphni Hotel in July 2008 (12-19) couple with our son 6 years old.

Very nice hotel, small in size, relatively to the huge hotels in Rhodes and other Greek islands where you have to queue up to get something to eat.

The hotel is bulid on a very small hill so you get to have a nice breeze all day and you won't need to use air-conditioning at night.

The restaurant where you have breakfast and dinner is actually on the top floor of a 3 floor building where there is also a pool. At dinner the staff put out 3-4 dining tables by the pool so you get a nice breeze and clean fresh air while you are eating. A little advice : Go to dinner lateish (round 9-9:30) if you want to sit outside by the pool. The staff were very firendly and accomodating and the food was very good.

In general, a small hotel, very clean with spacious rooms and a large balcony, on a quiet road, good food with a nice breeze and a great view. However, NOT suitable for older people as there is no lift and there are a 2 sets of steps to get to your room, if you are situated on th second floor. Also to get something to eat you have to go up 4 sets of stairs.

We would go back as it is very good value for money.

"Not excellent or luxurius hotel but for the price you pay you get more than you expect!
Above average rooms and exellent food. Nice pool and friendly staff. No problems at all! Would visit again gladly."

"Great hotel just one issue, smoking is allowed in the restaurant and as the hotel was mostly full of Germans they liked to do this mostly at breakfast. Other than this very clean and friendly, food average, great veiws and good location.Must add great service from Travel Republic and will use again thx. :)"

"We have just returned from a fortnight at the Daphne Holiday Club and can only say positive things about our stay there. The atmosphere was relaxing and informal but with friendly service always at hand. The pool is a good size with plenty of sun beds and a well placed terrace to drink in the evenings and enjoy the sunsets. All in all, a delightful holiday made even more special by the staff, especially Yannis, Makis and their team."
