"Hotel was fairly basic but very clean. Room was made up daily and fresh towels were provided. Great buffet breakfast daily. Reception staff are very helpful with regards to information about local transport etc. Excellent transport links from the mainland to the island, with a bus stop directly outside the hotel. Also very easy access to the railway station and Marco Polo airport. There is also a supermarket next to the hotel for those who prefer to self cater. Would definately recommend it, but be careful to check re. construction work that is currently taking place. We were woken up at 7am every day (bar Sunday) by builders drilling on the floor directly above us... not ideal for a holiday where you want to sleep in. "

Ideal for those arriving by car from the airport or as a budget alternative to staying in central Venice, this modern hotel is conveniently located in central Mestre, just minutes from the train station. From here it is a 10 minute bus ride to Piazzale Roma in Venice. The public areas and rooms at the Delfino in Venice Mestre Hotel are furnished in a simple, pleasant modern style, and rooms offer all necessary comforts.

Airport:
Marco Polo Airport: taxi direct, c. 15 mins, or 25 mins by bus. Treviso Airport: ca. 35 km. Taxi direct: c. 30 mins.
