"This is the WORST holiday I have ever experienced and would advise anyone considering investing your hard earned cash on a trip to Hurghada to do your homework before making a booking. My GF and I didn't so am hopefully helping you not make the same mistake as we did.
Why was it so terrible? Many minor factors contributed towards this which include the food, the hotel environment, the hotel cliental 99% of which are Russian, to name but a few. All of the above would have been slightly more tolerable if one could guarantee hot sun which during the winter season you can not.
From an entertainment factor it is money well spent but the 5 hour flight from the UK, molesting taxi drivers and lack of anything decent to eat if like me you enjoy experiencing decent local cuisine just leaves a lot to be desired.

"Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was that it was difficult to swim out by the coral due to choppy sea, but saw many fish in the laggon.
Rooms very good, food very good."

"Use local taxi's from outside the hotel and make sure you agree a price before you get in and don't pay until you reach your destination"
