"We moved rooms 3 times to get one that was okay, initially we got a twin when we had asked for a double, the next room was smaller and had a drain problem so was very smelly, the 3rd had a compressor running next door, but we got a double bedded room that was quiet in the end, it was much smaller than the one we were first offered and expected from the room photo in the brochure. Hotel is becoming a little Tired. We would not reccomend it to our friends unless they were desparate to be close to the town centre."

"Room was a bit on the dark side, I don't know if that was because it was on the front or what. We stayed bed & breakfast and found the food was not always hot and rarely was there a full selection. The service at that time also was a bit poor, we stayed four nights and every morning we had to ask for something, twice we had to ask for glasses for the fruit juice. The hotel is in a good area being very close to Dam Square and only around ten minutes walk to the "Red Light District" which is the best place for an evenings drinking. Lots of shops & bars, I've never seen so many in one place, I noticed there were the even some same shops in the same street? By the way the mints in the hotel are lovely, we helped our self to lots, still got some, yum yum. Overall I would stay here again but it is not what I thought a four star hotel would be like."
Top Tip:

"Nice Hotel, but the deluxe room was more of a two star basic small room, than any four star hotel we've ever stayed in."
Top Tip:
"Go easy on the Space (brownie) Cake from Abraxas, if you've never tried it before one is more than enough. It's very nice, with a kick like a mule 2hrs later.
