"Check the souvenir shop to get real price information before heading to the souks for some shopping. Hotel was nice with friendly staff. Breakfast is bit boring but the dinner (3 course on weekdays and buffet on weekends) is various and satisfying."

"The hotel was nice and clean and the rooms were a good size and well maintained. The breakfast was basic but plentiful, mountains of bread rolls, a variety of croissants, processed ham and cheese, yogurt, cereal and a bit of fruit. The pool is a very nice spot, clean and large and the surrounding area catches a great deal of sun until about 4pm. There is a reasonable bar but it's very smoky and a bit of a boy's club. Please note that this is NOT a 4-star hotel, more like a good 3-star. We found a couple (not all) of members of staff at the reception desk extremely unhelpful and even rude. They also object to you bringing in your own drinks 'the hotel will provide for your needs' - bottles of water and the like, they actually confiscated our water and promised to bring some up by room service - which they did not. We took to sneaking bottles into our bags."

"Probably about average for a 4* although the hotel was perfectly clean and reasonable. Staff tended to keep themselves to themselves and weren't particularly talkative, although this may be indicative of them speaking little English or Moroccan culture in general. The pool courtyard was nice, the water a little cold. The currency exchange offered decent rates competitive with those from the banks on the high street. Breakfast on the terrace was pleasant but the food to repetitive and limited to retain interest over a 14 day stay."

"For the price we paid per person the hotel certainly exceeded my expectations. The staff were helpful and courteous, the room and rest of the hotel was clean, tidy and with a bit of local colour, and the pool area was a great little oasis of calm away from the heat and bustle of sightseeing."

"Excellent food, good service with friendly staff and large clean, cool rooms. The pool is well maintained throughout the day by the very professional attendant (look out for the resident tortoise !). Central location in the centre of Gueliz nouvelle ville."
