"Really enjoyed our stay at El Trebol.Hotel grounds and pool very nice. Entertainment was good. Plenty of choice in restaurant. No complaints about the hotel except woman in snack bar a bit grumpy. Pool a bit cold but didn't stop kids going in. Daytime activities very good. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment (2 adults an 2 kids) and there was plenty of room. Living room was a sofa bed which converted into a double or 2 singles."

"hotel ok, got what we paid for
Wouldn't go back to same hotel but definitely back to Lanzarote, had a great time"

"Rooms were clean and basic. Towels changed daily. Location not good for beaches but great if you want to stay at the pool. Food buffet style and fine given cost of holiday. Great for families on a budget, not for young people looking for nightlife.
Approx 10 minute walk to town square."

"There was not taste to any of the food and chicken was the only meat on the menu most nights. Hotel could do with a lick of paint and updating. Pool area nice."

"Hotel very basic with a couple of broken doors but kept exceptionally clean. Would have been useful to have some sort of information in the room or given to you upon check-in on things like hiring a kettle, times of bar service, meal times etc. Food was excellent, shame the wine tasted like pure vinegar!! We were All Inclusive but did try a couple of restaurants, our favourite being La Ola on the promenade. Bus Service around the island is great and not too expensive, much cheaper than paying for an organised trip. The locally produced Honey Rum was gorgeous, shame we only found it the day before we were coming home!! Wouldn't go back to this hotel, too many kids so would be fantastic for a family. Would go back to the resort, possibly to the Sands Beach Resort as that looked really nice or to Matagador, which is just outside Puerto del Carmen."

"Could have more choice of meals in the evening.
More staff at the pool/main bars.
Using proper drinks glasses in main bar would be better than plastic cups.
Staff could do with a dose of happy pills.
Rear entrance to hotel could do with being left open until 2am.
Rooms basic but large and clean.
Pool areas clean and tidy, never a rush for sunbeds."

"The Hotel was good value for money and the rooms and balconies were kept really clean. The pillows and pillowcase could have done with being renewed. The pool area was cleaned every morning and the cleaners were all over the complex each morning as well. The food choice was very good and looked very presentable.
I was worried because we had no rep because it was all done by myself on line[ for the first time I might add!!!] however everything from the flight, pickup at airport and collection from the hotel at the end of the hoilday ran very smoothly...I was well impressed."

"The hotel was really nice. The rooms were fairly basic but clean. The three swimming pools were great. The staff could not be more helpful though the food was only average.
The all inclusive was really good though as was the evening entertainment.
An enjoyable weeks holiday."

"The all inclusive was not like a proper all inclusive , we had to request clean towels each day and also our bedding was not changed once on our stay. We had to hire a kettle, towels for the pool were not provided and also you had to rent sunbed cushions.
Food was not labelled in the restaurant so you were not able to see what was there, this is really bad if someone has an allergy to something - staff were quite rude"

"Very clean accommodation, serving good food. Close to the amenities of Costa Teguise"

"The food was fantastic and the pools and surrounding area was also better than we expected. Unfortunately for a young couple the entertainment was literally non existant. We had a 40 minute walk to the main part of the resort for any kind of life, and this was limited. The entertainment was completely aimed at the children which was disappointing. However we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family only with children. We will not return but enjoyed it as a very relaxing break. The all inclusive food and drink was worth the money."

"First class with excellant and friendly staff"

"All inclusive rate basic food, hotel entertainment very good for 9 and under. Basic rooms and beds not very comfortable but maid came regularly. All rooms look out on to one of the pools. We requested ground floor which could hear everything from above!!!"

"We have just retuned from a fortnight at the El Trebol Apartments and had a great time. Rooms spacious enough and cleaned nearly everyday. Food was enjoyable with plenty of choice and we found it always hot. Snacks at the pool bar also good with a good choice of soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and ice creams. Although for Safety reasons you could only get 2 drinks at a time. There was also a good selection of food in the Resturant on a lunch time. When we go away we worry that the kids wont like the food but we couldn't believe how much they eat and they are both fussy eaters. So it must have been good. Entertainment through the day kept our 2 boys busy. Evening entertainment consisted of a mini disco for the kids, bingo and a show. We must also say that the pools were cleaned almost everyday and the surrounding areas also kept well clean. Cost us 25 euros with a tip for the taxi to and from hotel. Great time had by all.SJKL (38,35,10,6)from South Shields."

"The hotel pools (there are three) are designed for all ages and the hotel attracts people of various age groups, it is a true family hotel. The area around the pools is great for getting a suntan but you have to mark your sunbed before 8am (then go back to bed!) or you will have to wait a while until one is vacated, you must coat yourself in suntan lotion several times during the day as you get a real good tan in this hotel grounds.
The staff at reception are friendly and speak English (if you can break them away from the constant telephone calls that they receive).
The rooms are sufficient for the stay and are supplied with crockery, a cooker, cups and glasses.
There is a small television and safe for personal property in each apartment but this entails using a small amount of cash per week.
The hotel is a short walk down a palm tree laden road to La Cucharas beach which is a large and sandy curved place with slightly rough but swim worthy seas.
Entertainment can be a bit the same every night but the people staying at the hotel seemed to like it as it was always busy in there.
You can go self catering but just outside of the hotel are a selection of places to eat at a reasonable price.
Travel reps are available frequently to answer questions and book trips for you, i way recommend the Catamaran day, you won't go wrong with that.
If i were to go back to that part of Lanzarote i would stay there again, it is far better than a lot of other hotels i have seen there during the stay."

"Hotel food was very average and we ended up eating out most nights; there was also a substantial wait at the bar to get drinks with a rule of 2 drinks per person; not good when you are a family of 4 or more!
Good sized, clean appartments, good location. Nice looking pools but very cold."

"The hotel was verygood and it catered for both young to old. When we got to our apartment there was no hot water but they sorted it out within the day. They need to arrange for baggage to be kept somewhere else when people are checking out as there was no room in the space provided and it was not secure so we had to put our luggage behin reception. Apart from that it was good and i would come back as the bars shops and restaurants where in very goo walking distance along with the beach!"
