"This hotel was a great base from which to explore the beautiful island of Samos. The hotel was immaculately clean with good room facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Potential visitors to this hotel should be aware the balconies of the rooms with sea views are built above the very busy road leading to the port and there a lot of traffic noise. This didn't bother us as, thanks to the free and very efficient air-conditioning, we could close the door to the balcony at night and therefore weren't disturbed by the traffic. Also, although it's very near to the hotel and is great for swimming, the beach at Karlovassi is not very attractive. That being said, we loved Samos so much that we intend booking this hotel again next year. We think car hire here is pretty essential."
Top Tip:
"The whole island just has to be explored. It is stunningly beautiful with very friendly people. We only managed to explore half of it this year and can't wait to go back to explore the other half next year."Erato Hotel check-in Date:
