"Well maintained and kept by Makis and his sister. The accommodation is good, with air-con if needed and good-sized balconies. The pool was always clean with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Makis was polite and accommodating - available if needed but otherwise unobtrusive. A good holiday."
Top Tip:
"One of the better restaurants is a Greek/Chinese in Lassi called 'House'. Also the Mystic Gusto (Go figure!). If you want to hire a car, go to one of the 5-6 agencies in Lassi - they will give you a much better price than the reps. Nearest beach is almost 2 km (20 mins brisk walk) away; good with showers and toilets."

"The apartments where clean and tidy, the sheets where changed twice a week, the pool area was very quite with lots of sun bed also the bar was open all the time whilst we were there.
It is very close to the airport, but there was only as few planes a day so it did not concern us.
The owner was very helpful and we found him very friendly.
The only problem was you do really need to hire a car because there is only one restaurant with in walking distance, the others are nearly a mile and the beach is a good 20 minute walk.
But don’t be put off, it is a lovely place to stay."
Top Tip:
"Don’t pay for any transfers it is only a 5 minute walk and you really do not need to pay the 25 pounds for the very short distance that it is."

"The towels and bedding only got changed on the Friday before we left on the Saturday.
The pool area was very nice and peaceful, but the poolbar only opened twice and then was hardly manned so never served food.
The Olive Grove restaurant never opened. The only bar/restaurant that was open was 10mins walk away over looking the airport.
But the people were lovely and very helpful and the views were amazing."
Top Tip:
"There are no buses after 14.30 so hire a car or be prepared to use a lot of taxis."

"Although the rooms were very clean, there was not much privacy and you could hear everything said or done in the adjoining rooms. It was advertised with a sea view, which it did have but it did not say that the airport was between you and the sea view. I definitely would not stay there again."

"Definitely need a car there - great beach at Minnes."

Apartment Details - Erietta and Studios Apartments

Official Rating - B Class - Self Catering

Situated on the outskirts of Svoronata in the southwest of the Island of Kefalonia, set in a quiet and peaceful location ideal for touring this beautiful island or just relaxing. Svoronata, is a sprawling village which encompasses a number of tavernas and beaches. This property, located amongst beautiful gardens, is a family run business that has been providing holiday accommodation in Svoronata since 1995. Popular with couples and families, the well maintained studios are ideally suited to those seeking a quiet and restful holiday, but who still wish to be within easy driving distance of surrounding towns, local places of interest and areas of natural outstanding beauty. An ideal location for an extended family holiday or group party or just to get away from it all.

Accommodation

In spring 2005 ten new studios were completed. With 20 studios the hotel can now cater for larger groups if required, but still remain small, friendly and overall typically Greek. There are three types of studios, all of which have shower & WC en-suite, balcony or veranda, kitchen area, fridge & hotplates, TV, and safety deposit box. Some have air-conditioning, while others have ceiling fans (available on request and paid locally). First floor rooms have a sea view.

Food & Beverage

There is a bar in the pool area. The excellent Olive press is very near. Other tavernas such as Fois are within walking distance. Try the International and Byronas in the nearby village of Lakithra and there is a multitude of choices in Lassi and Argostoli. The Kastro Cafe bar next to the Old Venetian Castle is well worth the trip for lunch, and on a trip to Sami be sure to visit the Rivera cafe for their fantastic fresh fruit drinks and ice-cream.

Facilities & Services

Amenities include air-conditioning, swimming pool, pool bar, garden with childrens play area and parking. Island tours can be booked in Lassi or Argostoli. Car hire is recommended if you want to make the most of the island.

Useful Information on Distances

The hotel is located in the village of Svoronata, just a few minutes away from the airport (6km from Lassi, 8km from Argostoli). Ammes Beach 20 min walk, Minies Beach 30 min walk. There is a local bus service to Argostoli or taxis can be called from the studios. Places to visit include Agia Efimia, Argostoli (captital of the Island), Assos (village and castle), castle of Saint George, caves at Drogati, Fiscardo, Melisani Lake, Myrtos Beach, Poros, Saint Geracimos Monastery, Sami, Skala. There is a minimarket 300m away, a taverna across the road and a bar 200m from the complex. Accommodation subject to airport noise.
