"The room was clean and comfortable. Confusion was caused by their being no policy on whether smoking was allowed or not in the restaurant/bar. The restaurant manager told us that smoking was not allowed and that was eventually achieved at breakfast but not for evening meals , which was a pity as the meals were excellent. The staff wre all friendly and helpful."

"Hotel is functional but the staff are very welcoming and very helpful. Position in Jewish quarter is 15 minute walk from the centre - perfect if you like it quiet at night. There are ample excellent restaurants and bars in the square where the hotel is situated."

"The hotel staff were very helpful leading up the trip. Welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The room was fine, but it was what we expected. Clean, tidy and ***. The hotel was in a great location. We would highly recommend Krakow, recommend the Ester - it does what it say it does. Very good *** hotel. If they wanted a real thumbs up they needed to let residents know you could ask for a basic hot breakfast. In saying that, the continental breakfast was more than adequate. "

"On arrival at the hotel we were placed in a tiny attic room but when we complained were moved to a much bigger room, the best rooms in the hotel are 16 and 17. cooked breakfasts are available but must be ordered very clearly 4 eggs and bacon came on 1 plate. the location of the hotel is ideal as the square is full of restaurants and there are many interesting bars nearby although it can get very busy with tour groups."

"This is a great hotel ,clean ,modern, quiet and great service, the hotel could not be nicer. The food is second to none. Krakow is wonderful this hotel is in the jewish area which is very interesting, far away enough from the centre square but very easy to reach on foot. We ate out and had a first class meal every time. There are loads of coffee bars and the attention to detail and service is A1. We booked two trips through the hotel and they were both excellent. I can not recommend this place enough just go its lovely."
