"THE HOTEL EXPO IS A VERY CLEAN HOTEL, AND THE BEDROOMS ARE MOST COMPFY AND WELL AIR-CONDITIONED, AND ALL WELL SERVED BY LIFTS. THE HOTEL IS CENTRALLY SITUATED IN THE CITY, AND CLOSE TO A LARGE SHOPPING COMPLEX. THE BEDROOMS ARE WELL SEALED AGAINST OUTSIDE TRAFFIC NOISE. THE HOTEL IS ALSO CLOSE TO THE MAIN BUS STATION, AND BUSES STOP RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOTEL. REGULAR BUSES RUN BOTH TO THE CENTRAL MAIN SHOPPING AREA AND THE BEACH AND AIRPORT, AND THE BUS ARE VERY CHEAP TO TRAVEL AROUND ON. "It was a very nice hotel although the reception staff were very slow and not enough of them working. Spacious rooms sadly the towels were rather old!!! Excellent breakfast with a good range of food. Not a hotel for youngsters."

"Clean room with bed linen changed every two days. Good air conditioning,excellent breakfast great selection. Near bus stops which can get you to any part of the city or beach."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet and evening buffet. Great location, within easy walking distance of old town. Bus stops and metro station right outside hotel. Taxis: 15 euros from airport, 9 euros to beach. Only downside: our room was very noisy, walls very thin. We were on eleventh floor, directly below rooftop bar which was open till 3am. Other rooms may be quieter."

"Hotel did not have many ameneties and roof top pool is not really suitable for young children, food was overpriced but rooms were ok and staff helpful. This hotel is best suited to stag and hen nights looking for a reasonable hotel at a reasonable price."

"Expo hotel. Tired architecture, rather dated decor but clean, well priced, with an excellent breakfast and convenient for the metro. A short walk to the Turia and the old city. Would stay again but would try to find cheaper parking(18.50 euro) "

"near the carmen area had a brilliant weekend. lots to do and see. do need more taxis in Valencia as a whole. the beach is a trek but the animas nightclub was worth it."

"Had a brilliant time, would definately recommend the hotel. the breakfast was good. would say more of a younger persons hotel than families. location is not too bad as near the Carmen area but Valencia is sooo big, you need taxies to get anywhere. The beach is a 10 minute drive but hotel has a pool and bar so not bad at all. Rooms were clean and good to see a cheap mini bar too!!! Would say mind your handbags in the piano bar as people come in off the street and try to swipe your handbag. so just keep your things safe in the bar."

"Great hotel and excellent value for money. Staff really friendly especially in the Piano Bar which was open till about 3.00am. Excellent selection at breakfast and at the weekend breakfast is served until 11.00am. Hotel rooms bright,very clean and air conditioned. "

"The hotel is convienently located next to a Commercial Centre and within 50 metres of the Turia Gardens. Turia Metro is outside the Hotel and the main bus Station is in the nearby vacinity. A taxi to the airport was only 10 euros. There is a nice bar and Restaurant on the ground floor with tables outside. In addition there is a swimming pool and another bar on the roof (however if you suffer from vertigo this may not be ideal) The Hotel was immaculately clean throughout with the rooms being of an average size. Overall it represented very good value for its location in a major city "

"The hotel rooms are clean but a little small and the bathrooms need to be refurbished, none of the rooms will have much of a view. The hotel does a good breakfast. The hotel has a swimming pool on the roof which was being done up along with the bar (which was closed) when we were there, but i think it will be a great view when it's opened. It is very close to the metro station, a few hundred yards from the front door (we had taken the metro from the airport, very easy). The bar in the hotel is also very small for the size of the hotel and allows smoking, there is no lounge as such, just a reception with a few chairs. You can walk into the old town through the Turia Gardens about 20 minutes or take the metro to the new part of town."
Top Tip:

"the hotel rooms were smart and cleaned daily to a high standard. the breakfast area was well layed out and well stocked. the hotel staff were both helpful and corteous. the swimming pool on the roof was a real treat. the hotel "Piano Bar" was over priced on almost everything it stocked"

"The hotel was excellent and the breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. It was clean and the staff were efficient and very helpful."
Top Tip:
"It is about 20 minutes walk to the old town but well worth the trip. We got a 10 trip bus pass for 5.45 euros from the Tabac shop in the shopping centre just behind the hotel. This is well worth it, the 62 bus runs down through the old town, make sure you cross the road to the bus stop which is just opposite the large pedestrian crossing by the lights near the totel or you will get a 40 minute "out of town" round trip instead :-). The walk through Turia Gardens is actualy very pleasant as an alternative. There is not a lot of choice of restaurants near the hotel and we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant in the evening so can't comment but it looked OK. We ate at FORNOs in the old town on a previous recommendation from this site, it said "they have an excellent menu de dia at 22 euros", we didn't see this menu and it cost us £40 each for a single course and a glass of beer! It was one of the best steaks I've ever had but be warned and only go there for a special occasion or if you have loads of cash to splash around. Take a look in the central mercado - just a food market but the produce was amazing and very fresh."Expo Valencia Hotel check-in Date:
