"The hotel was spotlessly clean...the staff were very helpful.......with our flight being the middle of the night they gave us our room till 10pm so that we were not inconvenienced. Food was ok something for everybody.....again staff so nice to us......really close to the nightlife. The hill was a bit of a killer in high heels tho' would def go back there again...."

"The hotel is perfectly situated in Magalluf for the beach and the nightlife. On arrival we were however advised that due to a previous nights incident, we were to be relcoated down the road into another hotel for one night only. This was arranged without any hassle and the hotel offered us free safe keys for the duration of our stay, complimentry drinks with our meals and a late check out on our departure day. The different hotel was part of the same chain and was perfectly adequate for one nights stay. The hotel Florida is very nice and is a well kept hotel, the staff are friendly and can speak many languages. the food was really good and we were made to feel welcome rather than just another group of english tourists.
The only slight concern i would say about the hotel is the air conditioning. it had one celing fan in the room which didnt really keep the room cool enough on the hot days so although air conditioning is advertised, it is not the same as 'climate control' air conditioning. That said, it would not deter me from revisiting the hotel Florida."

"Food brilliant, location brilliant apart from massive hill u have to walk up!! only problem is there are not enough sunbeds and not enough english!!! people reserving sunbeds at 7am then not using them until 5pm!! Hotel mostly accomadate for french/german but would defo go back!"

"There was 4 of us stayed at this hotel, all girls between 22-53 year old. There is two blocks to this hotel and they put us in the noisey block, which was not too bad as we were only there for 3 nights. The only thing with the noisey block is your balcony is very very small. The room was fine, lovely and clean, maids came in every day and cleaned. The food in the hotel was nice, nothing too fussy but nice for what you pay. The pool area was nice, but you need to be down before 9am if you want a sunbed. We found all the staff very nice at this hotel apart from one who was very very unhelpful. This hotel is very close to the strip but there is a big hill up and down to the hotel. Its not too bad but its not too good either. I would defo not recommend for older people because the hill is quite steep. If i went again i would request not to be in the noisey block as you had people braying on your door at 7am trying to get in, i would defo stay again but i would want to stay in the main block, better view from room and also quieter."

"Hotel very clean and tidy, maid service every day. Typical spanish hotel food, nice. Fantastic views over the sea. Pool area on the small side, not enough sun beds. Not suitable for older people due to the location..right at the top of a very very steep hill"

"The staff were friendly and very polite.

The restaurant was spacious and airy and the food was well presented at the buffet.

Our rooms were properly cleaned and the towels were changed every day.

There were insufficient sunbeds for the number of guests although the beach was nearby so this wasn't a problem for us.

The hotel allocated us 2 rooms in the annex where apparently they usually put noisy guests, presumably because our party was 4 women. We were disturbed by other noisy guests, mentioned it to reception staff the following morning and they dealt with it immediately by reminding those guests to be quiet when returning to the hotel late at night.

The drinks prices were very reasonable.

I thought it was a 3*. If it was a 2* I'd rate it above average in that category!"

"Over all the hotel was really nice just what we'd expected - lovely view from our balcany overlooking the beach/sea! The three bedroom was a little cramped if we were staying longer than a weekend then then I wouldn't have been happy as it was too small! The food was ok but never hot tho only warm even when we got to the restaurant as soon as it opened! The hotel staff were all really pleasent. Over all we all had a really good weekend - I would definately book through Travel Republic again! :o)"

"Myself and five of my friends were staying at the hotel as part of my stag do, the hotel was very clean and all staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpfull and did tolerate quite a lot as there were other stag and hen partys at the hotel!!!!
The food in the restuarant was very good and we were all pleasantly surprised with the variation and standard as we have all stayed in more expensive hotels and sometimes have experienced a lower standard than the Florida.
The only down side is that we all came home with sore calfs as there is quite a steep hill to get back up to the hotel after you have been out and about so you need to make sure that you dont forget any essentials, Overall we all had an exellent time."

"Hotel was very clean and hospitable, good size rooms. Food was very nice, it didn't always look very appetizing, but the taste of it made up for that! The only thing that was a little akward for us was the fact that dinner was served from 7-9pm and our 2 small children are used to eating earlier than this! The pool was lovely and the hotel even had its own little 'secret beach' (as our boys called it) and some lovely little sun terraces right on the front of the cliff. The views were amazing! Our room overlooked the front of the hotel, not over the sea, but it didn't bother us as we were only sleeping in the room, not living on the balcony!! Would definately come here again."

"the hotel is nice. food ok..as long as you dont mind sitting on the same table as some strangers, but the same strangers every day so that aint too bad. the noise when poeple come home from a night out is too loud the cleaners dont knock the door in the morning they just come in and one morning we was awoke by neighbours at 6.30am then by cleaners at the following time 8 15am 9 10am and 10 15am we wasnt impressed and when we had to go reception for a do not disturb sign then they didnt come in but the noise is carried all in the walls so it didnt make a differnce. i have come home for some sleep zzzz
but the hotel was nice. the hill kills that leads up to the hotel"
