"It was rated at 4* hotel - it definitely wasn't!!! I'm not suggesting that it wasn't clean, but compared to 4* hotels in the UK it was more like a travelodge. Perhaps the ratings are very different between Hungary and UK! Not really a problem as such as we got it for a bargain through TR and we didn't spend much time there anyway!"

The Golden Park Hotel is a newly refurbished property located in the heart of Budapest, within close proximity to all the tourist sights, attractions and situated opposite the East Railway Station. This 100 year old impressive building has a unique, stunning facade, with a modern, contemporary design inside. All the city sights can be easily reached by metro, bus, or trolley, and the stunning city park, Városliget, offering several unique sights of it's own, can be reached by a 10 minute walk. Also close by is one of Europe’s largest shopping centres, the Arena Plaza.
