EDWARD from HOUGHTON LE SPRING reviewed the Golden Sun Hotel
"was expecting a 4 star hotel. There was no reception, the pool bar opened up to reveal a counter and that was reception. The staff didn't come until after 11.30am and left about 6.30pm. The pool was muggy, it was never checked or cleaned when we were there. On internet it said it had satalite tv, music in rooms and coffee making facilities, it did not. We got there at 5pm and our room wasn't ready until 6pm. Other people came to find no staff and had to wait until someone came to show them their room."

"We were double booked, and so had to stay at another hotel. (the other hotle was nice). This was a good thing as The golden sun is mile away from kamari, it would take some time to was to kamari. location not suitable for a family with children who love the beach."
Top Tip:
"There are nice hotle on the beach fron. a little more expensive but worth it for the amineties."

"Lovely place to stay. The room was very spacious and clean, we were both very impressed. Its away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets of Kamari but only a 10 minute walk away from the town with its many restaurants and the beach. We would definitely return and would recommend to others."

"The apartments were clean with airconditioning, fridge and kitchen. The downside was that we were on the ground floor, which was particularly noisy as the people above us dragged their chairs on the floor which created a dreadful noise. Not ideal first thing in the morning!
I would say this is more like a 3 star hotel. Also hotel is quite a walk to the beach so people with mobility problems beware."
Top Tip:
"The doctor surgery was particularly helpful and saw me outside of her normal opening hours."

Golden Sun studios and apartments is located in set in an elevated position, in the outskirts of Kamari, providing to the visitors quiet, comfortable, modern and relaxing accommodation. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk to the beach and to the resorts centre, where guests can have a dinner in beautiful restaurants or tavernas that are located right on the beach. The complex is ideal for families with children.

All its 18 Apartments & Studios are equipped with kitchenette, fridge, air-condition, satellite TV and music, coffee machine, safety deposit box (at extra cost), private bathroom with bathtub, big balcony with chairs and tables.
