"On arriving at the hotel we were greeted bya smartly dresed young man who guided us to the reception / check in he then took the cases to the lift and showed us to our 4th floor room. The room its self was clean and had been partly refurbished with new beds, curtains, air conditioning and paint job. The balcony was a good size with an excellent sea view. We booked bed and breakfast but paid an extra £5 each for the evening buffet meal which were rearly good. Overall we thought the hotel was a good 3 star, it lacked any entertainment but there were plenty of venues close by."
"Just back from Golmar hotel and wish we were back,had the most relaxing holiday.Amet,the waiter was amazing,didnt need to move all day from beach,drinks,food.anything we wanted,Turkish are so friendly and really cant do enough for you! hotel is in great location, everything you need right next to you,icmeler is so gorgeous, .We would book with Travel Republic again,everything was organised so well! Had full body massage,open razor shave available and manicure and pedicure.we did it all ! was fab! all in hotel !"
"Excellent location, right on the beach at the end near the marina. The slides were great for the children who made loads of friends. Despite being peak season & lots of children the set up & layout meant we had a very peaceful relaxing time. The family room (501) we had on the top floor was very spacious & had gorgeous views of the sea, pool & surrounding area. The boat trip from the hotel was fabulous & we met new friends who we went out with for the rest of the week. "

"the Golmar Beach is one of the cleanest Hotels we've stayed in. The beds and towels were changed every day. I found the food is basic, but we did out a couple of times. The people on reception were always polite and very helpful. The Hotel's location is perfect for the resort of Icmeler We've already booked again for next year, can't wait !!!"
"me and my girl friend stayed at this hotel for one week the sea view we had was brilliant we was staying on the fourth floor.food is just basic but ok if you want a sun bed around the pool you have no chance unless you get up early for a couple of mornings i was on on the balcony at 4-40am as i could not sleep and saw people putting there towels on the beds it did not bother us has we always went too the beach but we did enjoy our stay at this hotel. "
"The hotel is fine, but the bar is totaly in the wrong place. so it doesnt get used. reception staff are very helpfull"
"The Golmar Beach is a basic hotel, but it is very clean. The towels and bedding are changed often and the hotel staff are very nice. The pool is of a good size, with two slides. We stayed for bed and breakfast, the food was ok usual buffet style. Would we stay again, yes, good value for money."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Golamr Beach Hotel. Food was excellent and extremely varied, staff really helpful and pleasant. Rooms were a bit basic although they were really clean and the maids were in every day changing towels/beds. It could be a bit expensive getting drinks from the pool bar although you can by bottles of water, juice & beer from the coolers at reception, this was much cheaper as my boys seemed to be drinking gallons each day!! All in all we had a super time and would have no hesitation in going back."

"I must say that we had a terrific holiday in Turkey! The hotel is very quiet which at first we thought might be a problem but there is so much going on around that it actually worked in our favour and gave us the best of both worlds! Its location is excellent....right on the beachand close to the entertainment. Food was excellent, although the breakfast was 'continental' and was repetative...but that was more then made up for the evening meals which we found to be very good! Rooms were comparatively spacious, bathroom 'compact' but above all they were clean! Full credit to the cleaning staff throughout the hotel. Ingeneral we found the staff friendly and always happy to oblige. We had a problem with our fridge which was reported on our way to dinner.....buy the time we had finished dinner it was sorted! All in all we would without hesitation both recommend this hotel and use again when we return to Icmeler."
"Hotel is in a great position, rooms are a little tired and need new shower heads, but staff were friendly and helpful and there is plenty to see and do in the resort.We would go back there again."
"Staff were great; hotel was lovely and clean, restaurant was amazing. Can't fault this hotel. Felt privileged to eat in this restaurant (Love Boat) as it was very busy every night. Service was fantastic - often at least 3 waiters attending to your order."
"LIKED NEARNESS TO BEACH, MOST ROOMS HAVE GOOD SEA-VIEW, FAMILY ROOM (FOUR OF US=2AD+2CH) IS A GOOD SIZE AND RECEPTION GUY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE GOOD POINTS OUTWEIGH THE NOT SO GOOD, ALSO TRAVEL REPUBLIC FULFILLED OUR SPECIAL REQUEST. DIDNT LIKE THE FACT THAT THE OWNERS FAMILY SEEMED TO ARGUE (AMONG THEMSELVES) PUBLICLY. THE POOL HAD SALTED (SEA WATER)"
"excellent location, good pool for kids but Hotel is a bit tired looking & could do with refurbishing to bring decor up-to-date - having said that, hotel very clean & towels replaced every day - would appreciate if there was more privacy in family rooms (ie partician wall) - breakfast adequate although repetitive - my daughter became unwell during stay & we used resident hotel Doctor who we did not find of use & we had to visit local hospital in order to have proper medical diagnosis/care provided (hospital 5 min bus journey away & Dr Bati speaks excellent english) - all in all would recommend Golmar beach hotel & revisit in the future."
"We had a great time, weather hot, people very very friendly, hotel was ok - great position for the beach and everything else in Icmelar but found our room in need of modernisation & decoration, the hotel was very clean though and the maid service was every day. Food-again only ok but there is no end of restaurants to be found and all in walking distance and the meals were the best we have eaten when abroad. The waiters are great fun and very entertaining. We would definately go back to the hotel and hope it has had a bit of an overhaul."

"Have had a fantastic holiday once again. We have stayed at this hotel 8 times and just love the place. The staff just can't do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble, and they are always happy and smiling. The rooms are kept nice and clean with maid service daily and the sea view from every room is outstanding. We only stayed B&B and there was adequate choice at breakfast. The location is excellent, right on the beachfront, so you have a choice of pool or beach within a few yards of each other. We are already planning our holiday for 2009 and guess where we are going - yes The Golmar Beach Hotel. "
"A very good unpretentious three star hotel situated directly on the quiet part of Icmeler beach with free sunloungers. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff very efficient but in the back ground. Only gripe is the cost of air con £4 per night and fridge £1 per night "
"we really enjoyed our holiday we have been to icmeler many times and we love the place the golmar hotel was really good value the staff were really nice and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and bed linen and towels were changed regularly."
