Cecilia from Newcastle Upon Tyne reviewed the Grand Aston Hotel
"This hotel is in a very good location, however, advertised is a pool and sun terrace both situated on the roof. Unfortunately, there were additonal costs to use these facilities arounf 14 Euros per person per day, which we should have been advised about in the hotel details. This added a substantial amount the the holiday costs as we chose this hotel for the pool access. The pool was also very small and not really suitable for swimming, but a plunge pool. The wallpaper and paintwork on the 2nd floor on which we stayed was rather shabby and required repair. Good breakfast, although the staff were a little frosty in the morning."
Top Tip:
"On the right of the hotel there was a very small cake shop, where the staff were most pleasant, and did a mean strawberry tart!"
