Mark from Darlington reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Stayed at Club PLaya Blanca with my husband and two children. Reception staff very helpful and the hotel was very clean. Accommodation great, as we had a two bedroom bungalow so no-one had to sleep on bed settee. Pool area really lovely, food good. Only downside of hotel was that the entertainment was a bit dodgy. Never laughed so much in my life at the performance of Grease put on by the hotel reps - one poor girl was boinked off the floor as her partner tried to swing her around by the arm and leg!!
Playa Blanca was just a 10 minute walk away with lots of lovely beachfront bars and cafes.
On arrival would also recommend a taxi transfer rather than a shuttle transfer as our flight landed at 19.30 and we did not get on a bus to go to the hotel until 21.20 - this was because we were waiting for other passengers from other flights, one of which was delayed."

"If you have not been to Lanzarote before would definitely advise to go on the South tour in which you go and see all the volcanic landscapes - amazing!!"

"We went for a relaxing family holiday & got it. Super resort & excellent hotel. My only complaint was the evening restaurant dress code. I wasn't allowed in with smart shorts, yet scruffy jeans were.
Although the evening entertainment was poor, but not unusual in our experience, it didn't spoil the holiday. We would certainly recommend the hotel & resort.
This is the second time we've used Travel Republic & both times the traveling/connections have been first class, we will definitely ues them again."

"Coffee was terrible, take your own!
There is always a breeze, ladies take a cardy for the evening!"
"Hotel was spotlessly clean and pool area was very spacious. Entertainment was poor and finished pretty early every night (around 11pm) which left nothing to do at complex. If you wanted to go to the centre of Playa Blanca it was a 10 min walk through a residential area but you could get a taxi for about 3 euros. During the day there was a courtesy bus that took you to the beach, unfortunately that last bus back was 15:15. There is no shop on the complex so if you needed something you had to do the 10 min walk into centre. The location of the hotel was the real downside and the fact that there wasn't many English Speaking guests(around 20%). I went with 15 and 11 years old girls and unfortunately there was nobody for them to mingle with. The food was just ok and became repetitive after a while but I must say that the pancakes at breakfast and ice cream were nice. The hotel will supply a room for you to shower if you have a late flight back to the UK. "
Andrea from South Cornelly reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"This was a nice, friendly hotel with good facilities. The hotel grounds were a little shabby in places but the rooms bungalows were fine and the garden areas were very well maintained. We had asked for 2 bungalows close together but they couldn't have been much further apart! Overall, the food is only good at best; some days were brilliant but others awful. I guess this is down to individual taste. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the restaurant staff. The pool bar and games room areas weren't well manned/cleaned which meant lots of children who weren't supervised by parents caused chaos!"
M from Cheshire reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"We have had a lovely holiday at Club Playa Blanca. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious and being semi detached bungalows they are quite private. The staff are very friendly, the food is great with plenty of choice. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from a small beach near the harbour the sand is lovely and the sea is really clear great for snorkling! If you follow the coast footpath there is a larger beach with watersports which is great. The majority of guests at the hotel were spanish which lead to a great atmosphere on the final of Euro 2008!! We were really impressed and would highly recommend this to any one."

"Lovely hotel, beautiful accomodation which was very spacious. Hotel food was really good choice and different every day too. Drinks choice wasn't too great and we reacon that they were watered down a little, but all still very nice !"
Emma from Wokingham reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"We have visited Playa Blanca twice before but this hotel was new to us and we were very happy indeed. Food was almost constant,as were the bar opening times. Pools and facilities were very clean, staff were friendly and helpful.
There is entertainment if you want it but it is also easy to avoid if you so choose.
there is a lovely kids rom where the kids club is but I used it with me 2 outside of kids club and played the board games and lego. My daughter did t-shirt painting for 6 euros with spanish and german children all clocking each others designs.
Roms were big and we saw a room with a twin room for the kids on the last day and that was fab too - definately ask for onbe of those next time.
On our last day we were provided with a room to shower etc free of charge and a luggage room in reception so we didn't have to sit around the pool with our bags.
The beach is a nice 10 min walk - buggy friendly too but the hotel also offers a free bus service.
From booking to leaving - faultless....very happy customers."

"The hotel and room was very spacious and clean.
The pool was great.
The food was 'hit and miss' - some meals were beautiful, some were awful but there was a lot of choice.
Would go back!!

"It was quicker to walk to the beach as the courtesy bus went all round the village picking other people up from other hotels! It only took 10 minutes though."
Simon from Paisley reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Complex spotlessly clean. Cleaners great and gardens very well maintained. They seemed to have an intermittent problem at various locations throughout the complex with a raw sewage smell which was pretty unpleasant during our stay and this was a bit more constant at the front of the complex in the car park from one of the outlet fans! The bungalows were clean and very basic. Although we were all inclusive we did expect a kettle and perhaps a toaster in our room for basic self-catering. Whilst the room did have a microwave and 2 glasses (there was NO kettle, NO plates, NO cutlery, NO cups ............. not sure what the purpose was of the microwave in the absence of anything else)! Reception will rent a kettle to you for 7 Euros 50 a week. There is no shop on the complex.
Seemed to be popular with Spanish equivalent of SAGA and for families with babies/toddlers. Not really geared up for children older than 12/13.
The quantity of food available in the all-inclusive restaurant was good however, the quality was really poor - was a bit like cattle class / holiday camp style catering. Not always sure either what was being put out as they didn't always change the "identity cards" at the hot counter. Would often find that what hadn't been used at lunch (such as chicken) was put out again at dinner with a sauce (in an attempt to hide the fact that it had been so over/recooked that it was tough and dried out). We ate out alot though it was expensive with the £/Euro exchange rate. Nice enough complex but restaurant was a let down - would be better self-catering."

"Love this resort - this was our fourth time! The Irish Anvil at the ferry port end of Playa Blanca did a lovely cooked breakfast & the Rubicon Marina area is gorgeous (Lani's restaurant at one end and American Bar & Grill at the other with some lovely boutiques and galleries in between). Also lovely welcome at La Galeria upstairs at Playa Blanca centre beachfront (Sue & Andys)."
Robert from Warlingham reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and spaciousness of the bungalow, given the price we had paid. The food was good as were the facilities and we made good use of the free bus service to the beach."

"Green Caves in the North of the island are well worth a visit as are the volcanoes."
wendy from yeovil reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Definately not a four star! No help with cases to your room (normally get that with four star). No shop on site, Pool area very dirty, didnt seem to be cleaned. Both kids were sick. There was five of us in our family and after the second person had showered the water was cold (every night). Cups and rubbish blowing round every where, never seemed to be cleaned up. Entertainment wasnt on till 10.00pm, too late!"
Andrea from Lockerbie reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Had a lovely week. The complex is beautiful. We were upgraded free to a two bedroom cottage, it was regularly cleaned and very spacious. Our children aged 14 and 11 enjoyed it too. Short walk to beach etc."
Keith from Bristol reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel

short taxi ride to beachs and night entertainment."
Michelle from Leigh reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Had a great time. Entertainment staff were lovely towards my children and had lots of time for them. We found the food to be good. It's what we would have expected from an all inclusive and there was plenty of choice. Location a bit far from the nearest supermarket but that just stopped us spending on unnecessary's. Would visit again for our winter break."
david from wallington reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Resort great, although if you are looking for some english voices, not the best place as 98% of the guests were either german, dutch or spanish.
But it didn't bother us as this is the second time we have been to this hotel, and would recomend it.

"The coach run by the hotel is great, but don't stress about the early 3.15pm pick up, as its only a 15 minute stroll back to the hotel."
Russell from Manchester reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"We booked this holiday as a half term treat for our son, the hotel was all inclusive and 4 star. It was absolutly lovely, very clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and cheery with all customers.
This is the 3rd or 4th time we have booked through late deals and every time we have been delighted with all aspects of their service."

"We stayed all inclusive and it saved us a fortune.... I think Lanzarote has become rather expensive for eating out with a family. We had a fabulous day out aboard the Cesar II boat which left Playa Blanca at 10am took us to Feturventura where we stayed for 2 hours before getting back on board for lunch. The boat stopped off for swimming ect and we got back to port at 5.30pm. This was a really great day. For good food go down to the new marina, so great places to eat and drink."
Sarah Margaret from Caerleon reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Very good value for money. The staff were faultless, very accommodating & friendly. The food and drink was plentiful but if anything, the only noticeable fault was that the vegetables were always overcooked (a bit like school !). I would, however, recommend you to my friends without hesitation."
newton from bangor reviewed the Club Playa Blanca Hotel
"Friendly, accomodating staff, well kept and reasonably located (set back from main resort, but 10min walk in or there was a courtesy bus). Food was usually OK - with something to eat (not great for children's menu and a bit stodgy sometimes) - 3 key more accurate description. Main pool and dining on lower level (there is an outside lift) and a couple of bungalows with disabled facilities."
Top Tip:
"Hire a car and see the island - El Golfo, Timanfaya, Puerta Calero Marina, nice road (twisty) from Playa Blance via Femes to Yiaza."
