"This is our third time at this hotel. It is not special but has a nice pool area, snack bar and wonderful views over the bay."
Top Tip:
"We got a room below the pool with a nice balcony, great view and peace and quiet. The rooms above the pool can be noisy.

"Hotel was great. Situated between Magaluf beach and Palma Nova beach. Apartment was well equipped and cleaned regularly. Only slightly minus point was that sometimes it could be quite noisy especially through the night and early in the mornings and no-one seemed to be policing the quiet hours between midnight and 8am. Other than that the kids and us had a fab time."

"cleaner came every day which was great not much to say about the beds though! slept on sofas most of the time as beds were like sleeping on the the floor but apart from that all the staff were friendly great sea view would stay there again"

"no problems getting shuttle(even though flight was an hour late).no problems booking in to hotel.we thought apartment was under equipped for self catering.

"On Arrival we were actually moved accomodation to a hotel down the road from us! There wasnt an explanation as to why, but they did however upgrade us to Half board (which unfortuently we couldnt benefit from as only there for the weekend, and the times of eating didnt suit - i cant help but think that they did it on purpose as they knew we wouldnt be able to take upgrade!!)
Besides that, the hotel was good, and did the job required of somewhere to base ourselves and lay our heads down for a few hours of sleep. One critisim of the hotel is that in the bath room, the shower curtain seemed to attack you from the force of the shower, a little bit annoying to say the least!!!"Top Tip:

"This hotel is ideally suited to those looking for a hotel for young people , the hotel is dated , dirty and noisey ...... however its very relaxed , and you are not likely too upset many residents .
Its at the top of a hill , but not a problem if your reasonably fit .
Its location is spot on for the strip and its clubs and bars .
Breakfast is good old english style , and the pool bangs out tunes during the day , all day !
Not for families , over 40's or those with a nervous disposition !"Top Tip:

"Hotel was on a hill,it was not suitable for people with walking problems or the older folks(it did state this). We stayed on level 1 it would have had beautiful views over the whole bay but,there were trees up as tall as level 3/4. Sea view no where to be seen. We also had to use the lift every time just to get to ground level. This was all disappointing. There were lots of sunbeds but very few umbrellas. We went to the beach every day with our own umbrellas so we could get some shade. The 1st maid was useless, the 2nd was a little better but it was never very clean. We did have a nice time at the beach, dolphins and on the para-sailing boat. Most places did good food. Not sure if i would go back to Palma Nova again, i would not stay in this hotel again, SORRY!"

"Palma Nova beach was busy at times but it was August. Clean,safe for kids too, except there were jellyfish which no-one mentions until someone gets stung. We didnt know about them for 2days. "Although I booked a sea view, I did not receive this and was told upon arrival that they were fully booked and had no alternative rooms available. Our view of the sea consisted of tree trunks!. The apartments are basic but cleaned 6 out of 7 days. The hill is not too bad but the apartments were too close to Magalluf. Torrenova is advertised as being 15 minutes from Magalluf but it was only 2 minutes down the hill. The apartments were quite rowdy at times with groups of lads and lasses around the pool area. The noise during the night was, at times, unacceptable. 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning shouting, music blasting and banging on doors. I certainly would not recommend these apartments for families. However, we did have an ejoyable holiday and would return to Palma Nova again but not these apartments."
Top Tip:
"Not many places catered for families without the rowdy groups of lads and lasses but I would recommend Ruby Tuesdays which is close to these apartments. The entertainment on an evening was ideal for families. Bingo, an singing act and then karaoke until 1am. "Had a fantastic holiday, first time booking through Travel Republic and everything worked out really well. I booked the airport carparking, the flight, hotel and transfers all through Travel Republic and all went smoothly. The apartment was clean and spacious although I did not get the sea view I requested. I was pleased with the facilities that were available and the staff were very helpful."

"on the night of arrival, my partner and i along with our 2 children arrived at the hotel, we were told we only had one cot in our room even though we had requested two which was on our confirmation letter. the staff told me they only had one left in the whole hotel, that they would have to share a cot, i explained that was no possible, then then wanted us to move hotels, this was around 1am and my two children were exhauted and just needed their bed. i refused to do this as there were 10 of us staying at the hotel. eventually they decided to go to another hotel and bring the cot to our room, this took around another hour, needless to say we were not happy and totally exhauted from our days travelling and what should have been a 10min check in took around 2 hours."

"Overall our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly.
The room allocations were a bit disappointing however. We booked three rooms with a sea view way back in August last year. We thought therefore with the amount of notice we could have had three rooms situated in close proximity to each other, however we were placed very far from each other. In our party we had 7 people and we were split up into two couples and a three but the three were put in the smallest room out of all of them! Seemed a bit strange and the hotel staff should have known this!

"could do with more lifts, the hotel a bit mish mash with room set up, you need to walk thru pool are and bar with all your bags if you are on lower floors, i asked for a room change because the first one had a view of trees, and the second room was much bigger and a better view we had a good time but would not go back for a long long time."

"The reception staff could have been more friendly, if you pay for a sea view in advance as we did be sure to take proof of the fact, we paid extra then when we arrived we were told there was'ent one available after putting our foot down, providing proof and refusing to leave the reception desk we finally got what we paid the extra for, the rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable and we had a great view, no airers on balcony so suggest you take a piece of rope. Cleaner was friendly and reliable she done her best in the short time she had, clean towels everyday and bedding every third. Would use this hotel again."

"Stayed at the Hawaii Torrenova. A lovely view of Palma Nova beach, and adequate facilities at the apartments. Room service were great and hotel was generally clean, but there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the satellite tv consisted of a few fuzzy Spanish channels. 2 small pools, decent dining service and staff very friendly. Altogether an ok apartments in a nice quiet area of Palma Nova / Magaluf."

"Really nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff. lovely pool area. Main lounge area is a bit basic - could do with a makeover i.e. comfy sofas, chairs. Food was excellent with plenty of choice. Would recommend and will definately go back."

"These apartments are in an excellent location right on the edge of Palma Bay where we (myself and my wife )were able to watch the anchored yachts.The beach and several restaurants are just a five minute walk away.The apartments themselves are very clean and cleaned every day.We were self catering but used the pool bar for lunch on a couple of occassions and the food was very aceptable.We never had any problem getting a sun bed but perhaps that was because we went in the off peak season.We found the staff to be courteous and reception organised our taxi to the airport on the way home.The weather was very nice so all in all we had a very enjoyable stay.We are thinking about going for another short break at the same time next year and if we do we would like to stay at the same apartments."

Apartment Details - Hawaii Torrenova Apartments
The Hawaii Torrenova Apartments are located in Torrenova headland facing the sea next to the Hotel Hawaii Mallorca. The ideal environment for families and couples alike, where the beach and the mountains are always within sight. The Hawaii Torrenova Apartments is situated on a hill and it may cause problems for people with walking difficulties. The hotel is set only 200 m from the family resort of Palmanova with its numerous shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Accommodation
The complex offers 170 apartments and studios, most of them with sea-view and all with fully equipped bathroom, Satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, kitchenette, safe and terrace. Baby cots are available on request and will count as 1 person in the room and not in addition to the maximum occupancy. Apartments consist of one bedroom, sleeping up to 3 adults & 1 child (two beds & two sofa beds). Studios have two beds and a sofa bed sleeping 2 adults & one child. From the panoramic terrace you can enjoy the swimming pools, pool bar, the sea view and a lively atmosphere. A magnificent place that combines tranquillity and comfort.
Food & Beverage
Half Board: clients can choose where they want to have breakfast and dinner; A la carte in the Snacks-bar or at the buffet restaurant at Hotel Hawaii Mallorca situated only a few metres away. The snack bar by the swimming pool offers a wide variety of dishes and drinks. Enjoy a refreshing drink in the large lounge bar.
Sports & Leisure
The hotel offers a wide range of sports and entertainment such as two adult swimming-pools (fresh-water) and childrens pool. A full day and night entertainment program for adults and children with games, sports, competitions, dancing and professional shows. You will also find a games room, table tennis and billiards (extra charge) within the hotel. Close by there are tennis courts, golf course, horse riding, bowling, bike hire, squash and a variety of water sports.
Facilities & Services
The hotel offers a reception desk, money exchange, car hire desk, rental of safety deposit boxes, fax service and multi lingual staff. In the reception is a virtual area with coin-operated computers with Internet access. Within the hotel you will also find a supermarket and laundry service.
Useful Information on Distances
The hotel is located 200 m from the beach and the bus stop, 22 km from the airport and 12 km from Palma. Buses run every 30 minutes.
