"This was ugly experience. Hotel is really 5stars but only with the prices. Coffee costs 4 leva, but it is not possible to drink:( To drink nice coffee you need to go to other hotel like Admiral and there is Wienner Caffee/good coffee costs there 3leva. Whole hotel looks like from old ages, need refurbishment in rooms and corridors. There is possible smoke around restaurant inside so when you going for a dinner you need to inhale smoke. The reception is always busy and it looks like you need to wait long with your enquiry. The worst is restaurant! There are many dirty dishes. If you have time you can see that staff argue with the managers and looks like very unhappy to do anything. Some people working the looks like lost in space at least. They gave me food poisoning and I have to call doctor, spend for his visit and medicines Ł100,- so better buy an insurance before you go there for holiday.
Do not order tea at the evening, because they will bring you hot water in dirty pot/it happened not once/, and at the morning if you taking hot water do not take it in big porcelain pots-there are 4 dirty for each 5.
Little forest around hotel looks like abandon. If you will go for a short walk around the hotel there are other forests which looks like place to dump rubbish so it is not nice. Between stairs leading from hotel to the beach are little stinking water flow. At the beach you can smell this stink from canalization and water in the see is dirty in many places.
Better take other hotel or even better other place, maybe it will be better."

"I have stayed at this hotel 4 times before when it was the Kempinski, the major problem with the stay is the dining staff, the majority completely ignore requests eg when they have run out of cerial bowls, I requested via three different members of staff to obtain a bowl without success, eventually around ten minutes later another member of staff came out with them. Generally breakfast was a nightmare, lucky to get a table, let alone a clean one.

Also it took 4 days to get some decent room service, day 1 towels changed, day 2 nothing, day 3 nothing, day 4 after complaining for 2 days the maids cleaned the room changed the towels etc at 20.00. Days 5 & 6 no problems."

"Hotel was fantastic, the breakfast was not typical english but when in Rome!
The Spa is a great way to start or end day, excellent price on travel republic as always."
