"Hotel staff were very helpful and kind. We wanted a twin room swapped because one twin room was really small compared to another twin room on the opposite side and Reception were happy for us to move to the bigger room.
Breakfast was abit boring sme old crossaints, bread, savouries everyday we asked for eggs and Reception said no.
We also saw a couple of coach roachs' one on the curtains during breakfast, on the floor during dinner and a upside down one on the stairs.
Dinner was interesting because we never knew what would be served before hand. We were able to taste everything because the food was halal. Salad starters served were very decorated nicely. Khalil our waiter was very good and served us egg for the little one when we asked for it.
We experienced some problems such as no water, power cut but they did not last for long.
Rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. Depending where your room is located i.e. facing swimming pool you are bound to hear the bar music all night long.
Staff were very friendly especially towards the children as everyone else in the hotel were too boring to talk to.
It was a nice, comfortable hotel for its 3* rating"

"Hotel was basic but was very clean, friendly and respected privacy. Good value for money."

"Very noisy, karaoke bar attached to hotel which sometimes went on until 2am. No choice of food on evening meal. Rooms clean and towels changed daily. Staff generally friendly and helpful. As with all Marrakech hotels the star rating is very optimistic."

"It was very pleasant, staff were very friendly. The hotel was basic but clean and comfortable. There does need to be a better area for sunbathing and the paerson who provides sight seeing trips didn't actually take us to the Atlas mountains as planned we eneded up going to a cafe and back and he still wanted paying!"

"Even though we paid half board, in the evening we had to pay extra for coffee or a glass of water to go with dinner .They do not do water by glass, you have to buy 1lt bottle. It was advertised as saterlite TV but is has not work for 6months.
Also starters where the same every night salad."

"warm and friendly staff, made to feel welcome"

"It was not so nice, for example the windows wouldn;t close enough, the air conditioner wasn;t working so I got a little cold.
The food is ok and is situated near the train station, in the new part of Marrakech."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. However, it is worth the note that the hotel as on a road full of building works and not really near any other hotels or local amenitites. These are not too far away although the walk to get there is not particularly very nice.
Also, the pool area is very small and not very good for laying out beside, although it was too cold for this when we were there. Another point to note is that from circa 10:50 the hotel owners sought to indulge in a little native entertainment and this music went on for quite a while. I will hasten to add it did not particularly preclude sleep but was audible throughout the hotel.
For the price paid this hotel was clean and comfortable but the difference between this hotel and others of a lightly higher price is huge."

"The Hotel Hicham was a good choice. The room was large and clean and the shower was great. The half-board food was good (for the money) and varied. The staff were very friendly and most spoke some english. The hotel is an easy 30 min stroll from the centre of the Madina and most Taxi drivers knew where it was.
The swimming pool is a reasonable size - suitable for Adults as well as children.
The one draw-back was the rather loud ethnic music in the evening from the Bar next door - but we got used to it and it didn't annoy us unduly."

"this hotel is in the new town, the hotel is not a 3 star by any standard. The rooms are very basic and a bit tatty. The breakfast was Moroccan and very basic. There is a nice restaurant nearby, turn right outside the hotel and walk down, they did a 3 course at lunchtime for 125 dirhams."

"Tiny cramped bathroom, NO hot water, No Air Con, Breakfast on offer were croissant, stale bread, jam or honey, tea or coffee. No fruit juice. Same selection every morning. Staff were friendly to a point. Very noisy bar at night. No fridge in room, no waste bin in room, old and tired decoration. Definately NOT a 3 star as we know in this country, more like a 1 star. Would not return.Drinks in the bar 10 Dh cheaper than if you drank them by the swimming pool. Bar dark and crowded and loud music every night."

"Excellent family budget accomodation. Staff very helpful and friendly. generous breakfast"

"Excellent hotel for the price. Food adequate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definetely recommend."

"The hotel was clean and tidy and the cleaner came in every day to tidy our room and provide us with clean towels etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely. The bar area was sadly not open at all although they did provide cold drinks and beer from an outside fridge. Very quite time as it was Ramadam so not sure what it would be like when busy."

"As the hotel is in a newer developed part of the city, it's away from the hustle and bustle of the old city. It's close to a supermarket and other amenities. The Hotel itself is well managed with helpful staff and reasonable food. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are changed.
The hotel is a good 30mins walk (without kids) to Jema-el-Fena (Square) and Central Marrakech. The kids pool is tiny, it's a section of the main pool which has been cordoned off. The chilled water is 3 times the price of the normal."
