"It's OK for families but there is no entertainment whatsoever so maybe younger kids will get bored and its not that big a hotel although the location is excellent. It was very clean and the rooms were kept very clean including regular change of sheets. Maid misses 1 day midweek but most can cope with that I think. Try their jacket potatoes with salad which you can buy at the bar, simple but one of my best meals out there. They were huge potatoes and very fresh salad."
Top Tip:
"We tried a different restaurant most nights and all were OK. The one right opposite the hotel was really only for couples and they overcharged us but rectified it once we pointed it out. Most other restaurants were good and honest though."

Property Summary

The Hotel Agla is situated in a quiet location in Rhodes Town, yet is within easy access of plenty of tavernas, bars and cafes. Rhodes Town is divided into 2 distinct areas, the modern part has good shops, tree-lined avenues, large public buildings, international restaurants and nightclubs, and the Old Town has cobbled streets, tavernas and a fortress.

Features

All of the 125 rooms are newly renovated and come equipped with balcony/terrace, direct dial phone, satellite TV, radio, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms as well as the public areas are air conditioned. (Some facilities may be at a local charge) Guests have a choice of dining options from the American buffet breakfast served each morning, to the buffet style meals at the main restaurant, light snacks at the poolside Snack & Grill Bar as well as a selection of Greek and International dishes at the a la carte Xarites Restaurant.

Location

The Hotel Agla is located just 50 meters from the beautiful beaches and 500 meters from vibrant nightlife, other places of interest within easy reach are the Aquarium, Casino, Marina, Art Gallery and the Medieval City all within 1.5km, with the Temple of Apollo just 2km away. Filerimos is 9km, Faliraki is 11km, whilst Afandou, where there is a 18-hole Golf Course, is 18km away. Further afield attractions including Seven Springs (20km away), Batterflies (46km away) and Ancient Kamiros (48km away) can also be visited. A local bus stop is a short walk from the hotel.
