"Main beach close, supermarkets also on the same block, rooms clean and good condition. Costs about €20 to the airport. Not a large complex."

"This hotel provided a base for our stay, set back from the main strip and manly used by regulars to the island who know location, location, location. Put it like this: Beach 10min walk (slow pace), Bars (7min walk), Central Atlantico (Where all the main bars/clubs 928 are - ideal for younger people or families 10min.
Apartments have everything you need for a self catering holiday, bedding regular changing and rooms cleaned fantastically. Ideal for people with car hire as somewhere to keep car."Top Tip:
"If you have a car hire, then head to papagayo beaches - does go off road but well worth escaping the main playa grande for! or if not 4k away (6euro) in a taxi will take you to Puerto Calero (Millionnaires Bay) where you will find plenty of restaurants including a fantastic mexican and also a michillen star restaurant which is all white at the end of the harbour.

"I booked the cheapest apartments I could find for Puerto del Carmen and they were lovely. they were basic but very clean. They were in a peaceful area which made for a very relaxing holiday. The staff were very friendly. There are only 28 apartments and it was like having your own villa most of the time, with someone coming in to tidy-up after you. Even managed to get the pool to ourselves on several occassions."

"It was a very nice, very clean apartment. The only fault was there is no hotel bar or restaurant and the reception area was only open a few hours a day. But saying this there are restaurants & bars within a 10 minute walk."
Top Tip:

"Just returned from a week at Aloe Apartments, only problem we had was upon arrival at approx 9pm. Reception was closed and we hadn't been allocated a room. We couldn't find any telephone numbers to ask for assistance. After an hour or so, a couple of Spanish holiday makers staying at the apartments came to our aid, and after making a few phone calls, not sure who to though ( their English/our Spanish wasn't good!) managed to speak to somebody who then allocated us a free room. After a bit of a worrying first impression, I've got to say the apartment was clean, spacious, secure with a large balcony. One minor niggle was there were no umbrellas around the pool, so we tended to spend most days at the beach, that was fine by us though!
Distance to the beach I'd say was approx 10 min walk, the bars and clubs, a little less. There was a Netto approx 5 min walk away, with a smaller shop a little closer.
Overall, my friend and I enjoyed staying at Aloe Apartments and for the price thought it was excellent value."Top Tip:
