"The Gran could not be bettered, we had a fantastic and very restful holiday but also combined it with lots of walking.
As few holidaymakers stay at the Gran, it's mostly corporate business, we had the jaccuzi, steam room, sauna and indoor swimming pool as well as the two outdoor pools and sun deck to ourselves.
The bedroom suite was superb too. Nothing could be improved upon."Top Tip:
"The best restaurant in Arriciffe is on the 17th floor of the Gran Hotel. With floor to ceiling windows looking out over the bay and town was a superb evening experience at dinner. The waiters were great and the food to die for!!"Arrecife Gran Hotel check-in Date:

"This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel and every time in a suite overlooking the beach - an unbeatable view and very spacious. Arrecife is great because there are relatively few tourists."

"Discovered another couple of restaurants. Chef Nazir and tapas bar where all the locals go for a night out called La Luna. No English spoken and the menu was a list hand-written on a new page for each evening - fantastic - definately the real deal! "The 'Gran' was very quiet when we stayed, just a few businessmen and us. Because it is the only high rise building in Arrecife, the views from the rooms and the 17th floor restaurant are superb.
Rooms were lovely, well appointed, quality fittings. None of the rooms have a balcony in the traditional sense (i.e open to the elements), but have floor to ceiling glass windows and a sitting room area.
My only criticism is that it felt a bit sterile, made worse by how quiet it was at the time."Top Tip:

"fantastic hotel,we stay on 15th floor,had the best views ive ever seen from a hotel in my life.Robin was helpful at reception which was good as his female assitant was rude.Would love and hope to stay here again also used the spa at 12euros.Bar staff 1st class too.Thought it a bit weird a window cleaner appeared from no were ,thank goodness i was half dressed spraweled across the bed."
