"Sorry to have to give this hotel such a bad rating but it's all it deserves. The food was the virtually same every day with little variation or choice and was ALWAYS cold, even the soup!!. The one daily choice of meat or fish reappeared the next day disguised in a sauce or batter coating. Many guests had to eat out daily. We never saw the "chef" throughout our stay. The 2 dining room staff wore casual dress and looked thoroughly miserable. They were only interested in snatching your plate immediately you were finished. The rooms were dirty and the tiny bathrooms decrepit. The small bath had a shower unit with a short hose at tap level so you could'nt have a stand up shower. There was no hot water. The glass louvre windows had broken panes allowing people to look in and access for the mosquitos. The bar area had only seating for about 40 and the bench type seats were uncomfortable. Ther barman had the same attitude as the dining staff. After the first week they closed the bar between 12.am and 6.pm and left a few half empty bottles in the dining room for you to help youself. However between 12.30 and 2.30. while the restaurant was open the bottles were covered up so we lost 2 hours "all inclusive" daily. The only saving grace was was a good pool and that we had good weather. However the pool bar was closed. Their was no entertainment whatsoever. The pool table was broken . There was a dart board but no darts. A tennis table but no ball, etc, etc. 3 days before we were due home they closed the restaurant and started taking away all the tables and chairs and sunbeds from the pool area. I guarantee that anyone who has visited this hotel will NEVER go back and would warn everyone to stay clear. If this shabby hotel has been refurbished as their website claims I dread to think what it must have been like before!!. If I were you I would strongly consider taking this hotel off your books because it will give you a bad name . Sorry again but I must be honest and I am not a particularly fussy person, Best regards

"The hotel was basic and clean , but there were no entertainment and the food was not up to scratch!"

"Hotel clean, staff very friendly, food adequate, but could have had more variety. Nevertheless, we always found something tasty! Problem with one of our rooms - we had booked and paid for two double/twin rooms, but our cousin (single occupancy) was put in a small room on a different floor. After one night, they changed it for one identical to ours on the same floor. The manager did nothing to help - he did not show his face at all, but left it to his receptionist, who eventually sorted it herself. Very poor manager!! Both receptionists were absolute gems, as were the waitresses and one of the bar staff. Kolymbia is a good location, central for everything. Thank you for arranging our holiday - no hitches (apart from the room mentioned above) with hotel, car hire, taxi transfers or flights. XL Air were excellent - amazing amount of legroom on the aircraft. BA could take lessons! Thanks again."

"The island itself is beautiful and full of beautiful sceneries. I loved the beach and the sea. The hotel was overall good, but the pool disappointed me with its not big size. Also there was no such thing as entertainment of guests at the hotel, so it was a bit boring towards the evening but quiet. The food was very good and tasty. It was a bit overcrowded in the hotel i would say but you can meet a lot of new people."

"For the price I paid, and it was all inclusive, it was excellent, the only drawback was that there were only 10 English people in the hotel and I was a single traveler. This did not bother me as I was there for a wedding, so I spent a lot of the time at the wedding hotel, which incidentally I couldn't afford."

"We were treated to a hotel with only 3 rooms let and therefore the staff were able to be extra attentive. The food was varied and as the hotel was empty buffet style was dropped in favour af a la carte.
We have visited the resort previously and were happy there.
It would be easy to nitpick with the fabric of the hotel however we are familiar with Greek hotels and knew what to expect...It was at the top end of Greek 3 Star.We would happily book there again although we might not have such a good impression had it been full."
