"basic but friendly clean rooms and towels changed every day could not complain for the price i payed not suitable for people with any walking difficulties unless you have a car steep incline to entrance."

"Nice clean, well kept and friendly hotel. Only real negative is food, don't bother with it. We had HB and tried breakfast and dinner on the first day and didn't bother with it for rest of holiday. Air con is 50 euro for the week and was well worth it in sweltering August. Overall was pleased with our stay considering the price was quite low for this time of season."
Top Tip:
"Hire a car and explore the wonderful Agathi, Tsambika, Lindos and Faliraki beaches - you will get bored very quickly just staying at the hotel."

"The food was extremely disappointing. Actually it was awful. We had asked for self catering but were told by yourselves that it was not available but in actual fact this was not true as we were told by the owner that it was available. We could not eat in the hotel but neither did we have the kitchen facilies that you promised us. Also, the grouinds around the pool were a mess. The room itself was nice enough although basic and the balcony got no sun after one o'clock in the day. As we had originally wanted the Iris which closed early, we are very disappointed in our alternative accommodation with no compensation offered."

"The Golf View Hotel in Afandou, Rhodes, is good value for moey, if a little basic in terms of facilities. This was our fourth visit to the hotel and there has been some welcome upgrading in the last year."

The Golf View Hotel is built on a hill with a wonderful view of the sea and is on the entrance of the town of Afandou. The hotel offers all known comforts for a relaxed vacation far away from the noises of the city.

Accommodation

The Golf View comprises of 58 comfortably furnished rooms, equipped with a telephone, fridge, local satellite television, air conditioning (at a charge), a radio and bathroom (bath and shower). All rooms also have a balcony.

Food & Beverage

All guests can enjoy a tasty breakfast provided from 07.30 9.30 and traditional home made cuisine within the hotel restaurant and taverna. Evening meals are served during 19.30 21.30. Guests can also enjoy a variety of refreshments from the hotels bar, and also enjoy the snack bar too.

Sports & Leisure

Swimming pool, tennis court, pool table, television area, golf course located directly opposite from the hotel), Greek nights and karaoke parties every week. For children, there is a childrens play Area.

Facilities & Services

Air conditioning is available with local charge. There is also a mini market on the premises.

Useful Information on Distances

Golf View Hotel is located in the town of Afandou, in the east side of Rhodes Island and it is 18 km from Rhodes Town. Just at the centre of the most significant places of the island (Rhodes Town, Lindos, Airport, Seven Springs, Faliraki, Kalithea etc). Opposite the hotel there is an 18-hole golf course, one of the largest in Greece.
