"Good hotel, very clean, very friendly & helpful staff.
Rooms cleaned every day to very high standard and air-conditioning worked well.
Food was always fresh and quite good for buffet style self-service with friendly reataurant staff.
Evening entertainment not the best and probably let the hotel down. Tried for too much audience participation every night when a simple disco or similar would have been more welcome."
Top Tip:
""Sexy Billys Kantina" on the beach front is good fun, and it's open 24 hours a day. "Michels" just up the road is a good restaurant/bar where the joint owners make you feel really welcome but "Bonitos", almost next door to hotel have lost the plot - they advertise "live music on Thursday" but when you turn up at 7.45pm the music is just finishing, having been on since 4.00pm. Fifteen to twenty minute walk into Kolymbia main street."

"Very nice Hotel, clean, with 2 swimming pools (1 big enough). Placed near to the nice beach ( about 200 m) by the huge mountains. Restaurant was OK with wide range of food (specially dinners). recommended for families and older couples but not for singles. Too far from central of the town (20 min to walk)
Generally very positive feeling."

"Clean and tidy but certainly not a 4 star. Meals OK but nothing to write home about, quite repetative and not always that hot.

Quite a walk from where any action is happening, very isolated at night."

AVAILABLE MAY TO OCTOBER - The Hotel Kolymbia Star is a friendly pleasant hotel in a quiet area of Kolymbia, and only one third of a mile from the beach. There is a selection of bars and restaurants near by, and if you want to discover the Island, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel,with Rhodes Town and Lindos within reach about 14 miles away.
