"Very un helpful management due to no hot water and broken shower in room which took three days to get them to repair it with no offer of a different room, Music played by the pool after lunch was very foul language so you could not take english children there! Pool staff and animation team excellent can not fault them! No water sports avalible but were advertised! Un able to use half of pool as the tiles had come away from the bottom. we have visited taba three times before in different hotels! and it has been fantastic every time, weather great and the sea but thats about it."

"Lovely for a week in fantastic weather doing nothing. Food excellant. Chefs obliging. Problem with music around pool. Management rectified problem and were very concerned. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will return."

"Rooms & food were only adequate, service was excellent. You are out on a limb,no car hire or service buses,entertainment minimal. Pool & gardens good.All alcohol from Cairo gin,whiskey,etc. all tasted same,yuk.Beach & diving brilliant."

Official Rating - 4* - Half Board / All Inclusive

The resort is situated 40 km south of Taba on the Egyptian Riviera Coast. Directly located on the Gulf of Agapa between Egypt, Jordan and Israel.

Accommodation

The hotel consists of 172 standard rooms including 7 suites with magnificent sea view. All rooms and suites with balcony/terrace, direct dial telephones, satellite TV, wire less internet connection, individual safe box, individual controlled A/C, mini-bar, hairdryer, bath tub shower, connecting rooms, handicapped rooms, and non smoking rooms.

Food & Beverage

The Holiday Taba restaurant (Pastrico Italian restaurant) serves late breakfast and afternoon tea. Available bars are the Lobby bar (Speed Bar), the Splash pool bar, and the beach bar Palm Bar.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00), dinner (19:30-22:00) and late dinner (24:00-01:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant Canyon. Snacks are available between 11:00 & 12:00 at the pool bar and from 17:00-18:00 at the lobby bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served till 23:00 at the lobby bar (10:00-23:00), the pool bar (10:00-18:00), the beach bar (10:00-18:00) and the disco (23:00-09:00).

Sports & Leisure

Facilities at the hotel include two tennis courts, health club, childrens playground, beach volleyball court, open air heated swimming pool, childrens swimming pool, diving and water sports centre, billiards table, tennis table, amphitheatre for 150 persons, D.J and oriental shows twice a week.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include football, table tennis, volleyball, water polo, speedball, billiards (from 10:00-12:00 only) and tennis (10:00-22:00).

Chargeable Extras

All consumptions after 23:00, mini bar beverages, fresh juices, bottled & caned beverages, the disco (23:00-09:00), shisha, tennis equipment, floodlit tennis, the health centre (sauna, jacuzzi, peeling, manicure, pedicure, steam bath), diving center, billiards (except between 10:00 & 12:00), telephone, fax, internet, laundry, loss of the AI bracelet, loss of the beach towel or card, late check out and replacement for lost or broken room keys are available at a charge.

There is a shopping arcade, bank, car rental service, outdoor parking facility, conference room facility (soon), and handicap services.

Useful Information on Distances
The hotel is located 65 km from Taba airport (TCP), 15 Km from the nearest city Nuewiba and 10 km from the bus station.

Entry Requirements

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitors visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
