"Having stayed in a few different resorts in Barbados, I must say I didn't find the staff here as friendly and helpful as those at other resortsI have stayed at in the past. Food was nice, domestic staff were pleasant. The actual accomodation was nice, roomy and clean. Would have been nice to have AC in the lounge area as well as the bedroom."

"Generally, the facilities are quite old, but kept clean. Most of the staff are friendly and accommodating, but the reception staff have "an attitude" - to the degree of being rude! We reported (twice) problems with the air conditioning unit in our room (leaking onto the balcony, causing a slip hazard) and the smoke detector (faulty - going off on the middle of the night), but neither problem was dealt with for the whole duration of our stay. Breakfast (continental style menu) in the restaurant was expensive for what was on offer, particularly compared to prices elsewhere."

Property Summary

Location

The Standard air-conditioned rooms are medium in size and offer full private facilities. Decor is modern with light cream coloring.

The hotel's restaurant serves breakfast daily and offers table d'hote and a la carte dining in the evening and overlooks the ocean for a romantic and tropical setting. Lunch is available at the Seahorse Grill, which also serves snacks in the evening. The Grill offers soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and pizza.

Low-rise modern looking building located on large acreage by the seaside. Surrounded by lush landscaped gardens and palm trees, the resort is made up of four separate buildings stretched out along the seaside.

One of the closest hotels to the airport located on the beachfront. The beach in which this hotel is situated is renown for being the windsurfing and surfing hot spot of the Island. Or just relax and unwind by the pool or beach. (0706/CH)
