"The hotel was dated, in a state of disrepair but relatively clean in public areas. There were water leaks all over the place and a bad one in our hall way which was not looked at all the time we were there and for a country with serious water shortages this was shocking. It was so awful we checked out early and will not consider returning there again. We were lucky we were able to stay with family for the remainder of our holiday. The food(breakfast) was cold and unpleasant and unlike anything in a three star hotel in Cyprus we have had before. There was no staff at all in dinning area. We did get a peak at the kitchen and laundry rooms and were horrified at how filthy they were that is when we decided to check out. We left a letter of complaint for the rep with reception."

"The Henipa Hotel is a cheap hotel (£30 per room Bed and Breakfast per night) and that was with a pool view. It is a no frills hotel, the breakfast is ok and you can find something decent to eat. It is in walking distance to restuarants, but a good 20 minutes or so, however if you want to go into Larnaca in the evening it will be by taxi, although I think there is buses through the day. It is not a 'holiday' place to take children with entertainment around, unless you hired a car, however Ayia Napa and Protaras is a good half an hours car journey. It is an ideal economy hotel if you just want somewhere to stay whilst say staying with friends in the area. Also, in the summer months, beware, they contantly have weddings and the reception is outside by the pool area, so you will not be able to use the pool and also the noise and music goes on till the early hours of the morning which is directly below your bedroom/balcony, and then, they start to clear up! We couldnt complain though for what we paid although there could be cheaper ones in Larnaca that would be much more central."
