"The Mercure Inn is a fantastically friendly hotel. It is the best hotel for service and for making friends with other guests as it is not as impersonal as some of the bigger hotels. We love this hotel and have made lasting friendships with fellow guests and hotel staff. The hotel staff arranged personalised trips for us to Hurghada, Aswan, and Cairo which were absolutely wonderful."

"Great hotel good service and very clean rooms . Staff very friendly the only negative was the gauntlet of shopkeepers you had to pass through to go outside"

"Hotel perfectly situated for easy access to all historic sites and the Corniche. Staff extremely friendly and attentive, room adequate size, quiet and very clean. Room cleaner very talented at making wonderful 'towel sculptures' to leave on the beds! Travco reps in Luxor VERY GOOD, helped enormously through airport both ways and arranged good value excursions. Cannot recommend enough."
Top Tip:
"Metropolitan restaurant next to Felucca moorings on Corniche good food & reasonable prices. El Hussein restaurant behind Luxor Temple good food, friendly, cheap prices and internet cafe next door"
