"We were due to fly with XL on 20th September and are still waiting for you to reply to our request for a refund for this holiday. I left details on all of this on Manage my booking. When will I get a reply?????????????? Rosemary Smith"

"service was a little slow - and we were constantly asked whether we were all inclusive (maybe wrist bands are a good idea). but overall the hotel was excellent and very clean."

"on arrival at this hotel we were told we were being moved the its sister hotel The Baron Resort. We were not very happy about this, but decided to wait until the following day.to see what it was like. It was a very good decision, as this hotel, in our opinion, was far superior to the Baron Palms.so we opted to stay where we were. The pool area was lovely. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good, plenty of choice, always hot and beautifully presented. during the day, the staff at the pool came round with cold face towels to help cool you down. It was little touches like that, that made our stay there very enjoyable. We would definately go back."

"We found the Baron to be an excellent hotel and the staff were very friendly. There were people of many nationalities and everyone mixed well. The entertainment was much better than we have previously experienced in Egyptian hotels. The food was excellent and varied every day in the main Restaurants and there was also alternative Restaurants which were just as good. We all thouroughly enjoyed our stay in the Baron."

"On arrival at Baron Palms we were quickly escorted from the Hotel without explanation. It was not unitil we were outside and I asked where we were going that I was told there was no room for us at the Palms and we were staying at the Baron Resort this was at around 10.00 pm at night so I was quite tired and agitated about this as it was booked for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. No one apart from an English receptionist seemed to care and said if the next day we were still unhappy to go and see her. Also as we hadn't eaten since lunch time it took a few attempts to find some where on the resort to eat and eventually a Manager kindly escorted us to a restaurant and explained we were All Inclusive. I feel the move could have been handled better. In the welcome meeting the following morning the Hotel for u Rep said he often does this? The Hotel turned out to be fine and we did stay where we were as could not be bothered with any more upheaval. The swimming pool and sunbeds were excellant everywhere spotless clean. Bathroom had no bath and was a really small shower, didn't feel room was equivelent to an English 5 star have stayed in better 4 star hotels. Drinks round pool had to queue a bar for quite a time when served drinks warm and flat. Food in restaurants always able to find something good to eat no problems. staff friendly. Weather fantastic everyday view from room over pool and sea excellant make sure you book this as view in other direction is a disaster. On last day we had to check out of room at 12 pm but not leaving for airport unitl 6.00pm requested use of shower/courtesy room told this was no problem. In actual fact it was the use of 3 shower cubicles in the fitness room that had male cleaners wandering in an out and was unisex luckily I had a swim suit on had to wait unitl room available to get dried and changed no place to do hair, make up etc. only when complained in receiption was I shown to an emnpty bedroom to finish getting ready. If I had known how poor facilties was I would have paid extra for another room. Also once you check out at 12.00 you are not entitled to All Inclusive ? even though we didn't arrive until 10 pm on the first day. Enjoyed all the trips we booked and believe it or not we did have a good time."
