  • "We arrived at the Camari Gardens very late in the evening but the staff had kindly waited up for us to show us to our room. Our apartment was very large with a big balcony. The accommodation was basic but clean. Our stay was the last week that the hotel was open for the summer so things were very quiet but the staff were very helpfull and arranged bike hire for us. We would definitely use this hotel again. Excellent value for money, really good position for exploring the Island (only an hour over to the south side and lovely beaches). This was our 4th time to Crete and we have previousely stayed twice in beautiful villas (very expensive) and one other apartment (poor) - Camari Garden rates highly."
