"Before I booked this hotel, I only saw 1 negative comment on this site and that was from someone whose family had been put into a studio instead of an apartment for the first night or 2. Guess what happened to us ? Apparently there was a problem with one of the rooms, but maybe it was a problem caused by deliberately over booking ? Seems a bit of a coincidence to me.....Anyway, whatever caused it, they dealt with it in a friendly professional manner and after the first night gave us what they described as a suite for the rest of the week. It was clean and tidy, kitchen area was basic but did the job, only minor criticism was that there was no air-con in the bedroom, just in the main room. The only thing stopping this place being almost perfect was the beach. Location wise, being right on the beach with a decent sized pool in a fairly quiet area just 5 minutes walk from the main town sounds ideal, however the beach itself is very pebbly and the sea is very rocky, not ideal for small kids. But there are other much nicer sandy beaches within a short drive if you want to travel. Overall a very nice place, good location, suitable for families, would return to the area, but maybe look for somewhere on a sandy beach instead - being brought up on holidays in Devon & Cornwall has obviously spoilt me when it comes to golden sand !"

"The hotel had everything that you could wish for. Good food in all of the resteraunts. It was very clean and the staff were all polite and very helpfull. The Spa facility was particularly excellent. Probably the best hotel that I have spent a holiday at."
