"The Marmari Palace was a very good all inclusive hotel. Rooms were clean, stylish and plenty of room. Food was excellent and sports facilities first class. Buildings were attractive and set next to beautiful sandy beach. Just 2 moans.... the only drinks that were all inclusive were wine (house wine by the glass), beer, ouzo and metaxa brandy (as well as fizzy drinks) ALL other drinks were chargeable. I feel that we were misled after reading that locally produced alcoholic drinks were included. Therefore cocktails were 5 50 euros each and juices were also chargeable!! All inclusive food had to be taken in the one main restaurant. Such a disappointment that we were unable to take advantage of snacks from the pool bar or beach bar, all chargeable. The hotel is quite remote and requires car to get to bar/restaurants/shops. This was not a problem for the adults but the teenagers found it far from their liking! Staff in reception and animation team were friendly and polite, however, the pool bar and restaurant staff were often unfriendly and obviously unhappy in their job! I would recommend this hotel for its high standards of food, beach, pool and accommodation but would say that this is not a true all inclusive as we have experienced in the past on other Greek islands."
