"This was a good base. It was probably very good when new but is now tired. Although that said it was clean. Very few amenities on site. Good sized quiet pool. 10 minute walk to beach."

"We have stayed at this hotel for the past 8 years and it has all the facilities we want. It is basic, but that is what we like - we're not interested in 5 star accommodation - just somewhere to sleep, have a hot shower (though this only happened in the 2nd week, cold showers in the 1st week), and to have our breakfast because it's cheap enough to eat out on a night and we make up sandwiches to take to the beach for lunch. The hotel staff are very efficient and friendly. I know that the hotel requires some upgrading and I hope they find the money to complete this, but all in all I'd rate this hotel as providing everything for our needs."
Top Tip:
"It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the beach during the day, because it's a slow hot walk, but it's good exercise. We've always sunbathed on Chrissy's sunbeds (white/yellow stripes) - turn right at the fountain along the beach and her sunbeds are just beyond the toilets - very comfy & 6 euros for 2 beds & an umbrella. All the tavernas are friendly and use delicious fresh produce. We particularly like the fish restaurants on the beach front - can recommend the fresh fish of the day particularly dorada, small fried fish (like whitebait) or shrimps in garlic sauce at any of them. The little supermarket (Maria's) further down than Constantinos has everything you could possibly want and they're a lovely couple who run it. The first pastry shop you come to serves really nice crepes, spinach pies, cappucinos, sandwiches and a huge array of cakes."

"Room cleaned every day with fresh linen. Owners very welcoming. Pool very refreshing after walk from beach. No complaint - except wish we were still there!"
Top Tip:
"Scala Restaurant and the Beach Restuarant on the seafront by the roundabout - great food and very hospitable hosts - really looked after the kids too! Fabulous special ice creams with sparklers, sauce and lots of different flavour ice cream!"

"Sunset hotel is on the outskirts of Tingaki and a very quiet and peaceful location. Restaurants are close by and across the road from a large supermarket. The beach is about a 15 minute walk. The apartments/studios are cleaned daily except Sunday with linen and towel changes every other day. The pool area could do with more regular cleaning and the palm trees could do with more regular watering but on the whole was OK."
Top Tip:
"All of the restaurants are good and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, particular mention would go to Vassilis, Sagittareus, 2 Friends, Katras and Meditteranean"
