"Great hotel, amazing views. We had our own decked terrace with loungers & Jacuzzi which was lovely, but i have heard that the normal rooms are fairly small? Something that needs to be checked as this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. The hotel was beautiful though, very clean, & great staff. The location isn't near the main town, but there is a free shuttle bus every hour or so provided by the hotel. This takes around 25 mins each way. Be aware that there are only around 30 Taxis on the whole island, so when arriving have either a cab already booked or a coach provided by the hotel. And if you're staying out late & need to get a cab back to you're hotel, depending on your luck you may wait a few minutes, or a few hours!!! I kid you not!! I did also find the hotel & the whole island of Mykonos expensive, but there are some great restaurants. The only other thing really is the wind!!! It's known as the windy island apparently. Now I was aware that the islands of Greece can have the wind suddenly rise up & last for an hour or up to a month. However I've stayed on a few of the islands & this was something else, a good force 3-4 most days, which is quite nice whilst sunbathing in a sheltered area where it becomes a breeze, but at night outside in any exposed area, it is way too much."
