"Myhusband and I, really liked the hotel and staff, the food was great, but one thing. We paid almost £150 for a private pool. This was not the case as we were lead to believe. The pool was shared by 10 other rooms, it was only 50cm deep and only one person could fit in the pool length ways. This was not what we were actually paying for. While we were there, we met several other couples who told us they did not pay any extra for a pool of any kind. Then why again are we paying extra for this????
We have photographs to prove the size of the pool.
Next I would not pay any extra money for pool or double superior room because other rooms look exactly same."

"Certainly not a 5-Star Hotel by our standards, more like 2-Star. - Anyone wondering what a good quality Hotel in the Greek Islands is like should check out the Iberostar in Crete.
Back to this Hotel:
The Best thing about it was that it was clean.
Rooms were sort of Spartan. Holes in the walls, Unfinished electrics in the ceiling, light not working etc.
The Bathroom did have a Jacuzzi bath as advertised, but it was a small one. There was no provision for taking a shower without converting the entire bathroom into a lake; we showered sitting down!
Room service was erratic, some days we had 2 towels, some days we had 8.
The minibar was never stocked with anything, not even water.
The "private pool" was shared by 3 apartments.
We had a delightful view of wasteland which was being used as a rubbish dump/scrapheap.
The hotel is a plane-spotters paradise, you can literally read the word "Dunlop" on the tyres as the airliners come overhead at roughly 250 - 400 feet on the landing approach to the airport. - We soon got used to the noise.
Walking to the restaurant area for us was entertaining, as we passed along what we came to call "Pooh Corner" - The stink of sewage was strong. - We also had the same delightful whiff as an acompanyment to the only evening meal we ate in the "A' La Carte" restaurant (called "Pieces of Eight" for some obscure reason) - If you like either Pizza or Pasta and packet mix soups then this is for you. - The other accompanyment we had to our Pasta was a very smelly waiter (never heard of deodorant, obviously).
Food in the Buffet-style restaurant varied from just about acceptable to very poor. The packet mix soups there were probably the most palatable thing on offer.
Long queues forming for daft things like wine glasses and coffee cups. The staff in the restaurant were totally disorganised.
The "all inclusive" (and rather limited) bar ceased at 11 PM.
The staff were mostly non-Greek, and you could tell. They were as miserable as sin. Not even a few very generous tips made any difference.
We were not given any information about facilities, entertainment etc. we had to make repeated trips to reception for this.
We didn't have any mattress pads on our sunloungers (everyone else did) and when we asked for some we were told to go steal some from the main pool area as there were no spares.
The animation team certainly put in some effort, but really took the hump when a multinational group of guests told them that the lead singer of Blondie wasn't "Blondie" but Debbie Harry - We all had the right answer to the music quiz question - They didn't, and didn't like being corrected! - If the little guy with the squeaky rubber chicken had squeezed it in my general proximity just one more time, I swear he was going for an unplanned swim.
On the whole, the place does not live up to its rating, and is best avoided."

"the hotel was nice apart from being double booked and we spent 2 nites in a different hotel"

"All inclusive finished at 11pm...very poor.
Fridge in the room...empty, although was stated as having mini bar in the hotel write-up.
Staff rude and ignorant, happy to stand and chat amongst themselves while customers waiting to be served.
No-one to take suitcases to room and no directions to our room were given.
Food/drink not served constantly through the day.
Food choice at the snack bar was poor.
Music very very loud until early hours of the morning.
Hotel is plugged as 'ideal for couples/honeymoons'...this is not the case! there were loads of kids running round causing havoc, jumping in the plunge pools in front of our room, not very impressive.
This hotel is definately not the 5* advertised, it is barely a 3*.
Only real good point .... Hotel was very clean"

"We travelled all inclusive for the first time, although we still like to go out and about and join in activities. While the hotel itself was lovely, they were very unforthcoming about what there was to do in the surrounding area - as it turned out, not much without travelling! We had to travel to Rhodes (20 mins by bus) to find out about trips etc. What there was to do close to the hotel was quite expensive.
The entertainment through the day and in the evening was good fun if you wanted to join in, but it wasn't in your face and you could 'escape' and have time to yourself.
I wouldn't have classed the hotel as 5*, more like 3/4*. It was clean and the food was good, but the survice generally was fairly average."
