"The apartments were very basic with few cooking facilities although there was a kettle, however, the sheets and towels were clean and changed twice weekly.

The family who run the apartments are friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food available, cooked on site by mom, Georgia, was very good.

Pool area clean with plenty of sun beds and a good pool bar with snacks. Safes, air con and internet available but charged locally. No complaints in fact a great place to stay with lots of restaraunts within walking distance.

Lots of car parking space if you have a hire car."

"This was rated as 4*. As there were no facilities other than the pool and bar/restaurant - ie pool table unusble, table tennis table abandoned in car park, only 1 video game and 1 computer stuck in reception hardly constitures games room. The family that ran the hotel were excellent and could not do enough for you. The apartment was not really geared up for self catering. To cater for four we had 2 egg cups - 3 knives - 4 forks - 2 spoons - 1 sieve - 1 sauce pan - a mixture of crockery - not really adequate if you did choose to cater for yourselves."
Top Tip:
"We had a great meal in a restaurant in Ialysos at Old Knight Bar (or something very similar) - avoid eating or drinking in Old Town Rhodes - 3 times as expensive as anywhere else and not very good qualtiy - great to browse though. Kalimiros was much better than Lindos for old ruins - no hawkers or pushy sales."

"Couldn't fault it at all, hotel very clean, staff brilliant. Smoothest holiday i ever had from checking in at airport to checking in to room, 15 minutes after we were due to arrive absolute class"

Apartment Details - Paleos Apartments, Tailor Made Holiday

AVAILABLE MAY TO OCTOBER - The Paleos Apartments are approximately 700 metres from the beach and two thirds of a mile from the resort centre. Ialyssos was built on the site of one of the four ancient cities of Rhodes, and is 7 miles southwest of Rhodes Town. Ialyssos combines modern and ancient Rhodes and has an enviable sun record with up to 300 days a year.
