"This hotel, although rated a 4 star, is certainly not. We have stayed in much better 3 stars. Most people staying at the Belair at the same time as us complained bitterly, as we did, about the quality of the food and the lack of choice. We found the dining room staff to be the least happy, but other members of staff, especially the reception, were very welcoming and helpful. Cannot complain about cleanliness, the hotel and rooms were kept spotlessly clean. We never went in the swimming pool as it did not look inviting, it is badly in need of restoration, also it does not get much sun so people complained that the water was cold. The pool bar staff are lovely and friendly and here the food is good. The hotel itself is opposite the beach but you take your life in your hands to cross the busy road. My husband and I were disappointed as this was our first visit to Rhodes."
