"Had a 2 week holiday with the family (3 young kids) and had a great time. Would consider returning. Although the decor in some of the rooms may be a little dated the overall facilities are very good. Food fine, not a great deal of variation each day but there are enough choices available to ensure you don't need to go out to eat. All the staff were excellent and sorted out any issues we had quickly. Evening entertainment at the hotel is Ok but repeats after a week and isn't worth sitting through twice.
Resort itself is a little bit quiet - not much happening in the evening but a 6€ taxi to Rhodes Town provides plenty of sight-seeing/shopping etc. The sea at Ixia is not suitable for young children as the swell/waves are quite large so we tended to go to other beaches on the east coast or stayed by the pool."
